Updated Counts on the Main Feature Table

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Matthew Su opened to 800,000 in a middling position and was called by Mayank Madan on the button. The {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop was checked by both and Su also checked the {a-Clubs} on the turn. Madan now bet 1,000,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

Evan Krentzman then raised to 800,000 and found no resistance by any opponent behind to claim the blinds and big blind ante.

Damian Salas Eliminated in 27th Place ($262,300)

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Damian Salas
Damian Salas

Damian Salas moved all in for 4,575,000 in the cutoff and Aaron Mermelstein called in the big blind.

Damian Salas: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Aaron Mermelstein: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Salas was in rough shape and in need of help as the dealer spread the {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop. The {5-Hearts} turn left the Argentinian needing a ten to stay alive, but the {7-Hearts} completed the board to end the 2020 WSOP Main Event champ's deep run, as he embraced his opponents and rail, while his elimination ensured a new WSOP Main Event champion will be crowned.

No Value for Tran With the River Nuts

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Evan Krentzman made it 800,000 to go on the button and was called only by Kenny Tran in the big blind, which led them to the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Both checked within 21 and 11 seconds respectively to see the {2-Diamonds} turn and acted even faster to see the {j-Clubs} for free. Once Tran checked, Krentzman checked it back within two seconds to get shown the {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the nut straight by Tran.

Souki and Farnes Pick Up Small Pots

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Philippe Souki raised to 850,000 in the cutoff and Brian Kim flat-called on the button. They went heads-up to a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Souki tossed in a bet of 800,000 and Kim still called.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and Souki sized up with a bet of 2,900,000 and Kim finally laid his hand down.

On the next hand, David Diaz opened to 800,000 from under the gun and was called by Souki and Jeffrey Farnes in the big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Diaz continued with a bet of 800,000. Both Souki and Farnes stuck around to see the {k-Diamonds} on the turn.

All three players checked this time and the {6-Clubs} completed the board. Farnes led out with a bet of 3,100,000 on the river and both Diaz and Souki quickly folded.

Rebei Chips Up; Tran Takes Pot With Flop Bet

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Chip leader Karim Rebei opened to 850,000 in the cutoff and was called by Matthew Su in the big blind. The {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop was checked by Su, who then got out of the way when Rebei made it 1,150,000 to go.

Aaron Duczak claimed the blinds and antes in the next hand with an open raise to 850,000 from under the gun.

Kenny Tran attempted to do the same in the next hand when he made it 800,000 to go but he was called by Su on the button and Evan Krentzman in the small blind, Duczak made it four ways to the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. It checked to Tran who took 41 seconds before betting 2,000,000.

Su needed as many seconds to fold while Krentzman and Duczak got out of the way much quicker to award the pot to Tran.

David Diaz
David Diaz

After Jeffrey Farnes opened to 800,000 in early position, David Diaz moved all in to his immediate left for 6,500,000.

After action folded back to Farnes, he called to put Diaz at risk.

David Diaz: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Jeffrey Farnes: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Diaz had Farnes dominated and after the board came {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}, Diaz had earned a much-needed double up through Farnes.

Su Chips Up in Showdown Against Conniff

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Matthew Su min-raised from under the gun and was called by Asher Conniff in the big blind, which led them to the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop. Once Conniff checked within just 11 seconds, Su continued for 600,000 and was called by birthday boy Conniff.

The {3-Hearts} on the turn paired the board and both opted to check this time, which led to the {k-Hearts} on the river. Conniff tabled the {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for sevens and treys but Su had that beat with the {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for the superior two pair.

Mermelstein Fires All Streets

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Aaron Mermelstein limped in the small blind and Adrian Attenborough checked his option out of the big blind.

Mermelstein led out for 400,000 on the {9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop and received a call.

There was no slowing down on the {a-Spades} turn with Mermelstein firing off 500,000. Again, Attenborough called.

The {7-Hearts} river saw Mermelstein push 850,000 into the middle and at that point Attenborough decided to give it up.

Two Barrels Work for Levy

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Tzur Levy opened to 800,000 on the button and was called by chip leader Karim Rebei in the small blind. The {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop brought a reluctant check by Rebei after 78 seconds and Levy bet 600,000 after a fraction of that, which Rebei then called very swiftly within seven seconds.

Both headed to the {7-Spades} turn on which Rebei checked after 37 seconds, prompting a second barrel worth 1,300,000. This time, Rebei took just five seconds before he sent the cards into the muck.
