Tran Faces a Check-Raise

Nível 35 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Kenny Tran raised to 1,200,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} in early position and Espen Jorstad called in the small blind holding the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Jorsted checked the {q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop, and Tran bet 1,000,000. Jorstad then check-raised to 4,000,000.

After a minute of deliberation, Tran folded to send the pot across the table to Jorstad.

Diaz Finds Value on the River

Nível 35 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Matthew Su opened to 1,200,000 in early position and was called by Jeffrey Farnes on his left and David Diaz in the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Su continued with a bet of 1,500,000. Farnes called and Diaz came along for the ride.

The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and the action checked around to the {5-Spades} on the river. Diaz led out with a bet of 2,200,000 which got Su to fold but Farnes looked him up. Diaz flipped over {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for top pair and that was good enough to win the pot against the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} of Farnes.

Tzur Levy
Tzur Levy

The action kicked off with an open raise to 1,200,000 by Asher Conniff in the hijack and Matthew Su three-bet to 3,600,000 from one seat over in the cutoff. It folded to Tzur Levy in the big blind, who four-bet jammed after 77 seconds for 12,000,000 total. Conniff folded and Su snap-called to create the following showdown.

Tzur Levy: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Matthew Su: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The rail from Israel started chanting for an ace and their wish wasn't granted yet on the {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop. Another blank followed with the {5-Spades} turn and the same applied for the {2-Spades} river, which ended Levy's run in 19th place for $323,100.

Aaron Mermelstein Eliminated in 20th Place ($323,100)

Aaron Mermelstein

Aaron Mermelstein moved all in for 6,000,000 in the small blind and Adrian Attenborough called in the big blind.

Aaron Mermelstein: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}
Adrian Attenborough: {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

Mermelstein was a slight equity favorite, until the {q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop vaulted Attenborough way ahead with a set. The {4-Clubs} turn gave Mermelstein a bit of hope with a gutshot draw, but the {9-Diamonds} river eliminated him in 20th place, good for $323,100.
