Matija Dobric opened to 1,000,000 from early position and was called by Andres Jeckeln in the small blind as well as Tom Kunze out of the big blind.

The flop came and both blinds checked. Dobric continued for 1,000,000 only to be met by a raise to 3,000,000 from Jeckeln. Kunze quickly folded to send the action back to Dobric who re-raised enough to force Jeckeln all in. The Argentinean made the call for his tournament life.

Tran Evades Elimination

Aaron Mermelstein opened to 1,000,000 from under the gun and was called by Vadim Rozin in middle position. Kenny Tran then moved all in for 14,000,000 out of the small blind. Mermelstein raised to 22,500,000 which convinced Rozin to get out of the way and Tran was officially at risk.

Attenborough Hero-Calls for His Tournament Life

Attenborough check-raised to 4,200,000 and Dobric responded with a three-bet to 9,000,000. Attenborough called and the rolled off on the turn.

Attenborough started with another check and Dobric put together a bet of 5,500,000. Attenborough still called and the completed the board. Attenborough checked for the third time and Dobric shoved all in, putting Attenborough to the test for his remaining 23,200,000 chips.

Attenborough went into the tank with his head resting on the table as he deliberated his tournament life. After nearly seven minutes in the tank, Attenborough finally called it off. Dobric turned over for just ace-high while Attenborough showed the hero call with to double up.

Dobric Jams Into Setna

Matija Dobric raised to 1,200,000 in the hijack with the and then called a three-bet to 4,400,000 by Jimmy Setna in the small blind, who held the . Both headed to the flop on which Setna continued for 2,500,000 and received a quick call.

The appeared on the turn and Setna now settled for check, which prompted a bet worth 7,000,000 by Dobric and a call by Setna.

On the river, Setna checked once more and Dobric emptied the clip with a shove for an effective 21,800,000. The Croatian had started the hand with just trey million more and that sent Setna into the tank for more than four minutes.
