Lievano Next to Fall

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Antonio Lievano
Antonio Lievano

The rapid-fire all-in showdowns kept on coming with the next short stack getting the chips in preflop. That happened to be Antonio Lievano, who pushed for the last 1,175,000 and was looked up by Matthew Su.

Antonio Lievano: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Matthew Su: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Both kept shouting to their rails which cards they wanted to see. Lievano settled for a split pot already with his demands but was on thin ice after the {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} turn. "Give me the nuts," Su responded while Lievano was yelling for a ten. Neither request was granted as the {2-Hearts} river ended Lievano's run in 51st place.

Turner Takes One From Bittar

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Action folded around to Kamal Bittar in the small blind and he raised to 600,000. George Turner made the call out of the big blind to send the players heads-up to the flop.

Bittar led out for 575,000 after the {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flop and Turner called.

Both players checked through the {10-Diamonds} turn to see the {5-Spades} river where Bittar again checked. Turner fired off 900,000 which was enough to get his opponent off his hand and keep Turner chipping up.

Robert Reed
Robert Reed

Antoine Labat opened to 400,000, Robert Reed three-bet jammed for 1,700,000 in the big blind, and Labat called.

Robert Reed: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Antoine Labat: {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop brought counterfeit outs, and the {10-Diamonds} turn vaulted Reed ahead, as the {j-Diamonds} river confirmed his double.

Hobbs Ladders, Busts Right After

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
James Hobbs
James Hobbs

James Hobbs watched as the tournament clock ticked to 53 players and confirmed that he made the next pay jump. Hobbs then proceeded to shove all in for 4,750,000 in the cutoff. Adam Demersseman also pushed all in for slightly more on the button and the blinds folded.

James Hobbs: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Adam Demersseman: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Demersseman flopped a set of eights to take a huge lead. The {k-Hearts} on the turn left Hobbs drawing dead to the {4-Diamonds} on the river that just added insult to injury. The start-of-day chip leader was eliminated in 53rd place and will be taking home over $176,000.

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Danny Hannawa was all in from the button for 1,475,000 and up against Damian Salas in the small blind.

Danny Hannawa: {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Damian Salas: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop gave a pair to both players, but Salas' aces were best. The board ran out {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Salas' Argentinian rail exploded while Hannawa headed for the payout desk.

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Aaron Mermelstein limped in and Efthymia Litsou checked the option from the big blind.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Mermelstein bet 200,000. Litsou called and the turn was {j-Clubs}.

Mermelstein continued on the turn for 600,000 and Litsou came along to see {3-Spades} on the river.

Gisler Eliminated by Duek

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Jon Gisler
Jon Gisler

With some 3,400,000 in the middle to the {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} turn, Jon Gisler checked his option from an early position and then called a bet by Michael Duek for 1,000,000. That left Gisler with 1,800,000 behind and he checked the {k-Diamonds} on the river.

Duek now bet 2,000,000 and Gisler reluctantly paid it off to get shown the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for kings and tens by Duek. That beat the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} of Gisler, who was eliminated in 54th place and missed out on a pay jump.

Blazevich Shoves Into Quads

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

With the board showing {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} on the river, Cameron Blazevich bet 700,000 before Jonathan Rosa raised to 2,400,000.

Blazevich tanked for a moment before announcing he was all in. "Did you say all in?" Rosa asked as he couldn't put in the chips fast enough, turning over {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for quads. Blazevich was forced to show his {a-Spades}{4-Spades}.

"That's it boys," Blazevich said to his rail, but a recount showed Rosa had 7,300,000 remaining, leaving Blazevich with 1,400,000.

"You lost the chips, but gained my respect," Dingxiang Ong told Blazevich after the hand.
