Krentzman Picks Up Aces, Jorstad Shoves on Jeckeln

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

David Levine re-raised to around 1,000,000 before Evan Krentzman shoved for 3,250,000. Levine called.

Evan Krentzman: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
David Levine: {j-Spades}{9-Spades}

The {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop was no trouble for Krentzman, and he secured a lock on the hand when the turn brought the {a-Spades}.

"Let's go," he yelled as he ran over to his rail. The meaningless river came the {8-Hearts} and he doubled up.

The next hand at this table, Andres Jeckeln opened from the button to 325,000 and Espen Jorstad re-raised to 1,300,000 in the small blind. Jeckeln four-bet to 2,825,000 and Jorstad responded by shoving all in. Jeckeln quickly folded.

Runner-Runner Double for Levine Leaves Gisler Gutted

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
David Levine
David Levine

In the very last hand before the break, David Levine four-bet jammed for 4,650,000 and was looked up by Jon Gisler in the small blind.

David Levine: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Jon Gisler: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop and {k-Diamonds} turn brought no joy to Levine, who needed a ten, jack or ace to stay in contention. In the meanwhile, Gisler didn't want to improve to a set as that would give Levine broadway.

Sure enough, that's what happened on the {10-Hearts} river and Gisler was hit by a sucker punch for a second before heading out of the tournament area.

Welch Leaves Funaro Short

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Robert Welch made it 450,000 to go on the button and Robert Reed then stared him down for more than a minute before he moved all-in. The staring contest was switched as now Welch needed time to contemplate the next move but he ended up folding.

Soon after, Frank Funaro was involved in the action from an early position and checked the {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. Welch bet 425,000 and Funaro called. He then check-called the {9-Spades} turn for 750,000 and checked again the {5-Diamonds} river with around ten big blinds behind.

Welch wasted little time before moving all-in and Funaro sigh-folded.

Rozin Coolers and Doubles

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Vadim Rozin
Vadim Rozin

GGPoker qualifier Vadim Rozin opened to 300,000 from early position and Matija Dobric three-bet to 850,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back to Rozin who jammed for 4,000,000, and Dobric called.

Vadim Rozin: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Matija Dobric: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Rozin was in good shape to double as the dealer fanned the {j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. The {9-Spades} turn left Rozin just needing to fade an ace to survive, and the {8-Clubs} river changed nothing, confirming the result.

Minor and His Lucky Burrito Stick Around

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Philippe Souki raised to 325,000 before Mayank Madan re-raised to 750,000.

"Let's go boys. The burrito is for luck," said Robert Minor, munching on a burrito, as he moved all in for 1,300,000 in middle position. Souki quickly folded, but Madan called to put Minor at risk.

Robert Minor: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Mayank Madan: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. "How about a jack for a sweat," Minor said as the {2-Spades} appeared on the turn. The river {8-Hearts} was safe for Minor as he doubled up.

"It's the burrito," he said as he was pushed the pot. Souki later said he folded ace-jack.

Levy Rivers the Best Hand

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Tzur Levy raised to 325,000 in the cutoff and Robert Welch called from the big blind. The two players saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and both players checked to the {j-Clubs} on the turn.

Welch led out with a bet of 325,000 and Levy called to see the {q-Clubs} on the river. Welch fired out another bet of 475,000 on the river and Levy flicked in a chip to call. Welch showed {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a pair of jacks while Levy held {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens.

Souki Fires On All Streets

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Philippe Souki opened to 300,000 from middle position and was called by Dingxiang Ong out of the big blind to send the two players heads up to the flop.

Ong checked to the preflop raiser on the {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop and then called when Souki continued for 250,000.

On the {q-Clubs} turn Ong checked for a second time and Souki fired off 825,000. Again, Ong just called.

The {8-Diamonds} river saw Ong check one more time. Souki was still not prepared to slow down and pushed a cool 2,325,000 into then middle. Ong appeared uncomfortable with the decision at hand, eventually tossing his cards into the muck.

Nathanael Kogel raised to 400,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Brian Kim for the call from the big blind.

The flop was {3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Kim checked. Kogel continued for 525,000 and Kim called. The turn was {2-Diamonds}.

Kim checked again and Kogel bet 1,380,000, but Kim fired back with a raise to 9,350,000.

Kogel spent a few moments thinking it over before he tossed his hand in the muck and gave the pot to Kim.

Lievano Interrogates Cervantes

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

On a flop of {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, Antonio Lievano bet 475,000 from under the gun. Rudy Cervantes, in middle position, put in a raise to 1,575,000 as action went back on Lievano.

"Pocket sixes? Pocket threes? Ace-five suited", Lievano asked as he went in the tank for several minutes.

"It's close. If I had to guess, you're looking at the three. I always look at the card I need," he continued.

"Set of threes is good," Lievano finally said as he slid his cards into the muck. "Show the bluff. It's good for the game." Cervantes, though, who remained silent throughout the interrogation, returned his cards face down as he collected the pot.
