Fujiike Grabs Some Chips Back

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Masashi Fujiike opened to 1,600 and picked up calls from the button and the big blind.

The flop revealed {3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Fujiike continued for 2,000 after it was checked to him. Only the button stayed interested and called and both checked on the {5-Hearts} turn.

A {6-Hearts} showed up on the river and Fujiike sent 5,000, which was enough to make his opponent fold.

Moneymaker Gets River Fold

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Chris Moneymaker
Chris Moneymaker

Chris Moneymaker opened from middle position to 1,800. Klas Krueger made the call on his immediate left and so did Andrew Gonder in the big blind.

The flop showed up {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Gonder checked, Moneymaker went for a bet of 2,500. Both Krueger and Gonder made the call.

A {6-Clubs} hit the turn and Gonder checked again. Moneymaker bet 8,000. Krueger folded, but Gonder hung around with a call.

On the {9-Diamonds} river, Gonder led out for the first time on the final street, and he did so for 13,300. Moneymaker sat back in his chair and thought for about a minute. After doing so, he tossed in two green chips for a bet of 50,000, a large portion of Gonder's stack.

Gonder took his turn in the tank, thinking for about two minutes. Eventually, he begrudgingly let his cards go and Moneymaker took it down.

The action was picked up on a board {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} with more than 26,000 in the pot.

Brian Wood checked to Benjamin Spragg who sent his last chip of 25,000 in the middle, putting Wood into a decision. "Are you going to show me?" asked Wood right before making the call. Spragg tabled {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for top two pair and Wood sent {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} into the muck.

Nguyen and Martinez Take Turns Betting; Nguyen Gets Last Word

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

After a raise preflop to 2,500 from the under-the-gun player, Thu Nguyen, Justin Brown and Raul Martinez saw the flop of {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Brown checked, and Nguyen bet 3,600, and found one caller in Martinez.

The two players saw the {4-Hearts} turn and this time Nguyen checked to Martinez. They bet 11,000 and Nguyen called.

On the {q-Clubs} river, Nguyen led out for 23,000. After some thinking, Martinez decided to let it go and Nguyen was awarded the pot.

Thomas Makes River Call to Earn Chop

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Andrei Stoenescu opened for 1,800 from middle position and Bill Klein called from the button. Jerri Thomas raised it to 5,000 from the big blind and Stoenescu. Klein got out of the way.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Thomas made it 2,000. Stoenescu called.

The {j-Diamonds} turn put two pair on the board and both players tapped the table.

On the {3-Spades} river, Stoenescu put out a large bet of 18,000. Thomas went into the tank for over a minute before she eventually made the call with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

Stoenescu said "nice call" and flipped over {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and they both chopped it up.

King-Queen Out Duels Kings

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

David Goldstein was all in for his short stack holding the {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. He was in dire straights against the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} of Fabio Bonatto.

The flop gave him some decent equity as it came {6-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} to give him a broadway draw. But king-queen would crack kings in an unexpected way as the turn came the {q-Hearts} and the river was the {q-Clubs} to go runner-runner trips to secure a double for Goldstein, who made some jokes that that would be the moment he would remember when he wins the tournament.

Tran Takes More from "Boston Rob"

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Fresh off a newly signed deal with PokerGO, "Boston" Rob Mariano is taking his survivor skills to the poker table. Mariano opened to 1,800 from under the gun and JC Tran called from the big blind.

They went heads-up to a flop of {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and both players checked to the {4-Spades} on the turn. Tran led out with a bet of 2,500 and Mariano quickly called.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Tran threw in another bet of 5,400 this time. Mariano thought for nearly a minute before finally deciding to lay his hand down.
