Muehloecker Doubles With Cowboys

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Thomas muehloecker
Thomas muehloecker

With roughly 14,000 in the pot on a {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop, Thomas Muehloecker jammed for 11,200 in the big blind, a middle position player called, and the button folded.

Thomas Muehloecker: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Muehloecker was in good shape as the {j-Clubs} turn left him just needing to fade a river ten, and the {4-Hearts} completed the board to secure the double for the Austrian pro.

Shahade's Overpair Takes it Down

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Jen Shahade

Andy Miller opened to 1,000 from middle position and one player called in the cutoff before Jen Shahade three-bet to 4,500 on the button. Miller folded, but the field caller flatted again.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. Both Shahade and her opponent checked the flop.

The turn was the {2-Hearts}. The cutoff player bet 7,000 and Shahde called in position to take the hand to the river.

The river was the {j-Spades}. Shahade's opponent thought for about two minutes and bet 6,000. Shahade didn't think long before making the call.

The cutoff player showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, but Shahade had the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for the winner.

Depaulo Hooks Another One

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante
Ryan Depaulo
Ryan Depaulo

With the flop showing {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}, the player in the big blind bet 2,200 and Ryan Depaulo called. Both players checked the {8-Clubs} turn.

The river came the {9-Hearts} and the big blind opened the betting again, throwing in 15,000. Depaulo responded by pushing all in and was met with a snap-call.

The big blind showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for the rivered set, but Depaulo had made the nut straight with {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to bust another player.

"What are the chances you're the chip leader of the tournament," a tablemate asked Depaulo.

"People just give it away to him. If he has all the chips, we can get them," another replied.

"I'm a tournament player, not a cash game player. I'm not going to give them away that easily," Depaulo said while stacking up his new chips.

Fei Among Leaders

Nível 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Wesley Fei
Wesley Fei

PokerNews was called over as Wesley Fei was excitedly ready to count his stack and tell about a big hand he just won to launch his stack toward the top of the counts.

As he counted it out, he told how he had {k-}{k-} on a board of {q-}{j-}{7-}{9-}. He check-jammed all in and got a call from his opponent who had {a-}{q-}. The river was another {9-} and Fei's overpair held to bust the departed player holding ace-queen and give Fei the substantial pot.

Zawadzki Bests the 'Most Interesting Man in Poker'

Nível 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Mikolaj Zawadzki
Mikolaj Zawadzki

Action was picked up when Chris Richardson raised his action from the small blind and it folded around to Mikolaj Zawadzki in late position.

"Can I see how many chips you are playing with sir? " Zawadzki asked and Richardson then comically placed all his chips on the felt in singles.

"Ok ok I am satisfied, you are most interesting man in poker, I call," Zawadzki responded as he threw out the call.

The flop was {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Richardson bet 6,500 and Zawadzki called.

The turn came the {2-Diamonds} and Zawadzki called a bet of 8,000 from Richardson.

But on the {k-Hearts} river, Richardson checked, to which Zawadzki bet 22,000. This sent Richardson deep into the tank, as he only had around 26,000 left in his stack. After nearly two minutes he picked up two black chips and pretended they were Oreos to reenact a scene from the movie Rounders, either for comic relief or some new strategy no one knew.

"If I fold will you show? " He eventually asked.

"I let you pick one," Zawadzki said with a smile. Richardson just laughed and after another few moments he tossed in his cards face-up, showing {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Zawadzki then offered his cards for him to expose one but he refused, much to the dismay of the table.

A full board was spread on the table and showed {3-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Around 35,000 was in the pot and Dmitry Yurasov was out of position from under the gun.

He checked to his sole opponent in the hand, Yuri Dzivielevski in late position. Dzivielevski tossed out two green chips worth 50,000, enough to cover the 35,300 in Yurasov's stack.

Yurasov thought for about two minutes, then decided to fold and live to fight for another pot.

Jimmy D'Ambrosio
Jimmy D'Ambrosio

There was about 15,000 on the {4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} river and Jimmy D'Ambrosio overbet to 18,900. His opponent was in the tank taking his time.

"It's cheaper to believe," said D'Ambrosio. "I know you're baffled."

It turns out that the player had his headphones in and didn't hear a word.

"Oh you didn't hear anything," said D'Ambrosio. "Now I gotta start all over."

His opponent folded and asked for him to show.

"I can't show," he said. "I can't, Ian over here is dying for information."

D'Ambrosio gestured to his neighbor as he dragged another pot to push over 200,000.
