David Espinola

No-Limit Hold'em

When the cards were being dealt in, David Espinola accidentally exposed one of his cards, the {7-Spades}.

"Well I guess everyone knows I have a seven," Espinola announced and he kept the card face up and then proceeded to OPEN to 20,000. The big blind defended while the rest of the table got out of the way.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and the big blind then led out for 8,000.

"Well I guess you've got a jack, huh?" Espinola commented as he made the call.

The turn was the {6-Spades} and the big blind then bet big for 45,000.

"Hmm that's a big bet but you know I might have a five under here," Espinola said as he again made the call.

The river was the {k-Diamonds} and the big blind moved all in and Espinola snap-called and the big blind sheepishly showed {9-Spades}{2-Spades} for nine high.

"Ok well I don't have the five but I do have... a KING!" he shouted as he turned over his complete hand of {k-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a made pair of kings on the river as the entire table and surrounding rail erupted in laughter and applause at the epic play.
