Pulusani Doubles Through Taylor

Nível 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Sandeep Pulusani opened from the cutoff for 210,000. Action folded to Esther Taylor in the big blind, who pushed forward a tall stack of blue 100,000 chips in for a pot sized bet. Pulusani quickly moved all in to make the call, putting himself at risk.

Sandeep Pulusani: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}
Esther Taylor: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Pulusani was behind and would need help to stay alive. The {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop gave him a pair and an open ended straight draw. The {9-Spades} turn completed that straight, and the {3-Spades} river completed the board. Pulusani's king high straight was best, and he scooped the pot to double up.

Taylor Doubles Through Chuprun

Nível 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Esther Taylor opened from under the gun to 175,000. Daniel Chuprun moved all in from the small blind. Once the big blind, Vincent Lam, got out of the way, Taylor snap called, putting herself at risk.

Esther Taylor: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Daniel Chuprun: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Chuprun was going to need some help in order to eliminate Taylor, but none came on the {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds} runout, which left him drawing dead on the turn. Taylor scooped the pot, doubling her own stack, while leaving Chuprun with under ten big blinds.

Jordan Kaplan Eliminated in 11th Place ($18,558)

Nível 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jordan Kaplan
Jordan Kaplan

No-Limit Hold'em

William Leffingwell opened from under the gun to 160,000. Action folded around to Jordan Kaplan in the small blind, who moved all in for around 1,000,000. Vegard Andreassen, the big blind, got out of the way, leaving Leffingwell with the last action. He made the call, covering Kaplan, although not by a huge margin.

Jordan Kaplan: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
William Leffingwell: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Kaplan had Leffingwell dominated and seemed poised to double up. The {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop didn't change much, but the {6-Diamonds} turn brought a flush draw into the picture for Leffingwell. Any diamond or king on the river would knock Kaplan out of the tournament.

When the {a-Diamonds} hit the felt, Leffingwell let out an enormously loud "DIAMOND!" that could be heard throughout Bally's Event Center and possibly beyond. His flush had been made, making Kaplan the first to fall here on Day 3.
