It was the ultimate cooler situation for Tuominen as he flopped a set of kings but was up against a set of aces. When the river came the the table was stunned when they realized Tuominen made a flush to devastate Rudelitz, leaving him very short. Rudelitz was eliminated on the next hand when his straight draw could not improve against the set of his opponent.

The PokerNews team was called over to a table to report on a hand after the fact. Under the gun opened the action to 30,000, the cutoff three-bet to 100,000 and it folded to Ryan Scully in the big blind who moved all in for 264,000 total. The initial raiser folded and the cutoff made the call.

Scully was in great shape preflop but needed to dodge his opponents cards. The flop came , giving the cutoff top-set and crushing Scully's chances in the hand. The turn was the which again was no help to Scully.

After Amir Amini had dropped a little to around 1,500,000 from his peak of 2,200,000, he got right back up the leaderboard from a duel against Travis Pearson.
On a flop of , Pearson had made it 60,000 from the button and Amini made it 191,000. They quickly got the rest of Pearson's chips in, totally around 900,000.
Pearson's cards weren't seen by PokerNews, but the table assured the reporter that Pearson had the nut flush draw.
It didn't go well for Pearson though, as Amini tabled and the turn brought the giving Amini quads. The insignificant came in on the river and busted Pearson.
In the next hand, it folded to Amini in the small blind. Whilst he was still gathering and setting down chips, the big blind Jay Harwood convinced him to limp call without looking, which he obliged. Harwood then potted it and Amini called.
The flop drew a continuation bet from Harwood of 60,000, which Amini had check-called.
On a turn, the action went check-check bringing in a river. Amini then lead for 205,000 and after Harwood went into the tank for a minute or two, let his hand go to award another pot to Amini.
