Cary Katz

In a pot of roughly 38,000 on a flop of {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, Cary Katz checked his option from under the gun and the button checked back.

The turn came the {5-Hearts} and Katz took the lead when he bet 25,000. His opponent gave it some thought but eventually folded and the chips were shipped to Katz.

Nível 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The action was relayed by the table after the fact. Two players were all in on a flop of {k-}{5-}{2-}, the big blind was the player at risk for their last 18,000 and was called by Punnat Punsri.

Big Blind Player: {a-}{q-}{q-}{j-}
Punnat Punsri: {5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}

The turn came the {k-} and river {6-}, which gave Punsri a straight and eliminated his opponent who was able to share the bubble spot with three other players who chopped a min-cash.

The Bubble Has Burst, 4 Players Chop The Min-Cash, Including Hartman

Nível 13 : Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Johann Ibanez
Johann Ibanez

After a bubble that lasted 3 or 4 hands, with double-ups and no bustouts, four plays busted.

One of which was Craig Hartman, after Colombian Johann Ibanez Diaz was all in against him for Hartman's last 27,000 on a board of {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}

Johann Ibanez Diaz: {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Craig Hartman: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The {k-Hearts}turn and {k-Spades} river locked Diaz the hand and sent Hartman to the rail. He will chop the min-cash with three other players who busted on the same hand, giving them all around $376 each, not including any bounties they won.

Sick Cooler Helps Drinan, Sends Yoo To The Rail

Nível 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Connor Drinan
Connor Drinan

According to Sungkae Yoo (Seikei Yanagi) who PokerNews caught up with after, he opened 5,500 and got one call before Drinan three-bet to 25,500 and both Yoo and the other player in middle position called.

Yoo and the other player checked to Drinan who bet 10,000 on the flop of {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}, and only Yoo called.

A {7-Clubs} fell on the turn and after Drinan bet 20,000, Yoo moved in for around 10,000 - 15,000 more. Drinan snapped him off and tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for top boat. A horrible cooler for Yoo who showed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for 2nd nut boat.

Yoo was drawing to quad queens but the river was a blank, sending Yoo to the rail.
