Ryan Scully Eliminated in 7th Place ($27,125)

Nível 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Ryan Scully
Ryan Scully

With 600,000 in the pot preflop, Nolan King bet pot before the flop was out. The board came {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Scully quickly moved all in for 1,300,000 total and King made the call.

Ryan Scully: {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}
Nolan King: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

"I have the nuts", said Scully as he turned over his hand.

"I'll have the nuts by the river", commented King.

Scully flopped a straight and was in great shape against the aces of King. Before the turn came out King announced "club" and the {4-Clubs} appeared on the turn. With one more card to come Scully was still well in the lead, until King announced "club" again and the river fell like a ton of bricks when the {9-Clubs} peeled off, making King's prediction come true. Scully exited the tournament in 7th place.

Konstantin Angelov Eliminated in 8th Place ($20,930)

Nível 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Konstantin Angelov
Konstantin Angelov

Action was on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} with 500,000 in the middle, blind versus blind. Raul Esquivel checked to Konstantin Angelov who bet 210,000 and Esquivel raised to 400,000, which was called.

To a turn of a {6-Diamonds}, Esquivel check-called the all in from Angelov.

Konstantin Angelov: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Raul Esquivel: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Esquivel had top boat against Angelov's aces up and Angelov was drawing to two outs, but the {9-Hearts} hit the river sending him to the rail after the dealer counted out each stack. Esquivel had the bigger stack by just a few thousand.

Angelov, who won a $600 Deepstack bracelet event just a couple of weeks ago, came so close again. Still, a great result from the Bulgarian, who seemingly came out of nowhere this summer to crush these PLO events.

Diogo Veiga Eliminated in 9th Place ($16,339)

Nível 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Diogo Veiga
Diogo Veiga

After Nolan King bet blind under the gun to 120,000 while enjoying a beer with table-mate Ryan Scully, Diogo Veiga moved all in for 480,000. It folded to Raul Esquivel in the hijack who then bet pot, for nearly all his chips, around 1,600,000. King got out of the way and cards were tabled.

Diogo Veiga: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Raul Esquivel: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Esquivel was way ahead of Veiga, and held up on the {8-Spades}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} board, eliminating Veiga in $16,339. That leaves just one player as a potential two-time bracelet winner.

Pei Li
Pei Li

Pei "Jerry" Li opened to 140,000 from the hijack and only Eric Lescot made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}, Lescot check-called a bet of 130,000 from Li. On the {3-Diamonds} turn Lescot checked and Li bet 325,000 which was called.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Lescot checked again. Li went for maximum pressure by betting full pot for 1,380,000. Lescot went deep in the tank but eventually let his cards go and the pot was shipped to the Canadian.

Gross Spot For Angelov

Nível 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
William Gross
William Gross

After Konstantin Angelov opened under the gun to 120,000, William Gross three-bet from the cutoff to 365,000. Action folded back to Angelov and he made the call.

To a flop of {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}, Angelov checked it over to Gross who continued for 250,000, which Angelov called.

On the {2-Diamonds} turn, once again it was checked by Angelov. Gross was not in the mood to slow down, now firing pot for 1,370,000, leaving himself around 400,000 behind.

Angelov took a minute or two to make his decision but ultimately folded, giving Gross a nice pot to start the day.

King Leads Final Day of Event #74: $1,500 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha

Nolan King
Nolan King

The final day of Event #74: $1,500 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha is here and only nine hopefuls remain in the hunt for WSOP gold. Players will return today at 2 p.m. in the Bally's Horseshoe to battle it out for the $190,219 first-place prize and the coveted gold bracelet.

Nolan King returns with a massive lead over the table after bagging 12,700,000, good for a staggering 212 big blinds. Canada's Pei "Jerry" Li returns with the next closest stack to King (5,525,000) but will have his work cut out to catch up to King's tower of chips.

The rest of the table round out the remaining stacks, all within a few big blinds of each other. Diogo Veiga is coming in on the short stack (540,000) after losing a massive pot to King late on Day 2 but will look to spin up his 9 big blinds to get back in the mix.
