Couden Has to Settle for a Chop

Nível 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Heads-up to the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop, David Mcgivney and Joey Couden got into a raising war with the former as the player at risk.

David Mcgivney: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Joey Couden: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Couden picked up outs on the {k-Spades} turn with his nut flush draw but the {10-Clubs} river ensured the split pot. "Sit back down Dave," Mcgivney was told as he had already been ready to leave. With no low shenanigans and third spade, both chopped it up with their pair of aces.

Buchalter Doubles; Nally Chops With Beasley

Nível 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

The cards of Ronan Nally were already mucked when he paid off the double for a short-stacked Yehuda Buchalter. On a board of {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs} of Buchalter were good enough for the nut flush and double.

One hand later, Nally three-bet an open raise by Shennel Beasley and received a call. Beasley check-called the {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and they checked down the {6-Spades} turn and {3-Diamonds} river. Beasley tabled the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a low and Nally won the high pot with the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for aces and treys.

Saechao Chops With Fox

Nível 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Kao "Flexx" Saechao defended the big blind and then led the {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} turn for George Fox to call in the cutoff. Saechao also bet the {5-Hearts} river and Fox sigh-called after a few seconds to get shown the {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a straight to the jack. Fox chopped with the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{x-} and was then jokingly warned by Saechao not to raise on his big blind anymore.

Carney Scores High With Runner Runner Full House

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Christopher Carney
Christopher Carney

A multi-way pot had 72,000 preflop with Chris Bell on the small blind, Chris Carney on the big blind, and Jeffery Stepaniuk in the cutoff.

The flop came down {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Bell bet. Carney raised, Stepaniuk and Bell both called.

An {8-Hearts} showed up on the turn which Bell checked, Carney bet and once again received two calls.

The river paired the board with an {8-Diamonds}. Bell checked to Carney who threw out another bet which got called by Stepaniuk and Bell. Cards went up and Carney showed {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} giving him the high half of the 228,000 pot. Stepaniuk had {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} for the low.

Four Ways to a Split Pot

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

"There is gonna be a low but I don't know which one yet, we'll sort it out shortly," the dealer announced as a four-way pot emerged with Christopher Lee as the shortest player and all-in on a {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} board.

The {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} of Lee were good enough for a pair of aces and a live-eight low and he received a portion of the low pot as he was up against an opponent with {a-}{j-}{j-}{8-}, Anthony Piazza with the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} for two pair, and the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} of Mitchell Bailey. No superior low emerged and thus the only ones chipping up slightly were Lee and Bailey.
