Diego Sanchez, fresh off a deep run in the Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 NLH Championship, opened from under the gun and Joseph Cheong pushed his short stack into the pot from middle position. Action folded back around to Sanchez who made the call to put Cheong at risk.
Joseph Cheong:
Diego Sanchez:
Cheong, though at risk, was in a good spot to get a double up and give himself some more playability. The flop pushed him even further in front but the turn did give Sanchez a gutshot. It did not come in on the river and Cheong scooped the pot.

A player in early position opened to 1,800 and was called by the player one seat over. The cutoff player then moved all in for 12,100 and Daniel Smiljkovic in the big blind called. The initial raiser, after some thought, re-jammed and the player one seat over with a "I shouldn't do this" made the call. Smiljkovic responded by pushing his chips into the middle with the covering stack to set up a four-way all in.

Middle Position Player:
Daniel Smiljkovic:
With his opponents all blocking each other to an extent, Smiljkovic had the most equity heading to the flop. The flop came giving the middle position player, who by his own admission had made a light call, the nut flush draw and the best opportunity to take down a huge pot. The turn changed nothing, with the middle position player asking "for a club, one time". His one time was used in vain, however, as the river completed the board, propelling Smiljkovic into what is likely the chiplead as well as sending three $3,000 bounty chips his direction, meaning that, in the event that he does not cash, he will still only take a small loss on his initial investment. Smiljkovic is on something of a heater after final tabling the Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 NLH Championship earlier this week.

Calvin Anderson opened to 2,200 from under the gun and received a sole call out of the big blind.
Both players checked through the flop to the turn where the big blind checked for a second time. Anderson then tossed 2,000 into the pot and was called.
The river saw the big blind check once more and Anderson, unwilling to go to a cheap showdown, bet 7,000. His opponent seemed suspicious but did end up releasing his hand to keep Anderson chipping up.
