Lichtenberger Triples Up, Takes Out Moorman

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Sean Winter had a bet of 4,800 in front of him before Andrew Lichtenberger moved all in for 58,000, The player in the small blind also shoved for 58,400 and Chris Moorman went all in for 52,300.

"I don't even know how to think about this spot," Winter said as the table burst out laughing, including the all-in players. He eventually called and tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Moorman showed {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, Lichtenberger {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, and the small blind {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}.

The {2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop shot Lichtenberger into the lead with a set of jacks. "I have diamonds," Winter said as the {4-Diamonds} came on the turn.

The river came the {3-Spades} and Lichtenberger scooped the entire pot, tripling up off Winter and the big blind while Moorman was eliminated.

Lindsay Can't Get Little Off Aces

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Jonathan Little raised to 2,000 pre-flop before Katie Lindsay three-bet to 6,000. Little came back with a re-raise to 15,000 and Lindsay called to the {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop.

Little continued for 10,000 and Lindsay called. The turn came the {10-Clubs} and Little slowed down.

Lindsay took the opportunity to bet 15,000 and Little quickly moved all in for his last 29,000. Lindsay called.

Jonathan Little: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Katie Lindsay: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The river came the {q-Hearts} and Little's pocket aces held up to secure the double up.

"Too rich to fold aces," a tablemate joked about Little after the hand.

"He didn't even think about," Ben Yu added.

Cheong Doubles Through Sanchez

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Joseph Cheong
Joseph Cheong

Diego Sanchez, fresh off a deep run in the Wynn Summer Classic $3,500 NLH Championship, opened from under the gun and Joseph Cheong pushed his short stack into the pot from middle position. Action folded back around to Sanchez who made the call to put Cheong at risk.

Joseph Cheong: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Diego Sanchez: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Cheong, though at risk, was in a good spot to get a double up and give himself some more playability. The {k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop pushed him even further in front but the {10-Diamonds} turn did give Sanchez a gutshot. It did not come in on the {9-Clubs} river and Cheong scooped the pot.

Foxen Shoves the River

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Three-handed on a board of {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}, Alex Foxen bet 10,100 from the cutoff and a player in the small blind called. The big blind got out of the way as Foxen and his remaining opponent went heads-up to the {5-Clubs} river.

The small blind checked, and this time Foxen moved all in for his last 29,200. His opponent went into the tank for about two minutes studying the board before tossing his cards into the muck.

Diaz Takes Aggressive Line

Nível 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Guillaume Diaz
Guillaume Diaz

Guillaume Diaz opened to 1,200 from the cutoff and received a single call out of the small blind.

Action checked to Diaz on the {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop and he continued for 2,000. His opponent called to send the two players to the turn.

The small blind decided to take over the betting lead on the board pairing {2-Hearts} turn, leading out for 3,500. Diaz, far from deterred by this turn of events, raised to 12,000 and was called.

The {q-Diamonds} river saw the small blind check and Diaz toss out a hefty 35,000. The small blind player went into the tank, counting out calling chips and checking how much he would have behind were he to call with the worst hand. After considerable thought, he decided that a fold was the best course of action and Diaz collected the sizable pot.

Winter Gets Paid Off

Nível 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Sean Winter in the cutoff put out a bet of 4,300 on a board of {3-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and was called by the player on the button as another opponent under the gun got out of the way.

The river came the {10-Spades} and Winter, slowly shuffling chips with both hands, eventually bet 5,500. His opponent quickly called as Winter showed {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for the flopped set that turned into a full house on the river.
