Hellmuth Ramps Up the Aggression

Nível 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised to 550,000 from the cutoff and Jeffrey Lo defended the big blind. The flop came {3-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Hellmuth took down the pot with a 600,000 bet.

"Are you from London?" Hellmuth asked Lo after the hand.

"Hong Kong," Lo replied.

"You play good," Hellmuth continued.

Hellmuth won the next pot with a preflop raise of 700,000, showing {a-}{k-}, before he limped in and went heads up with David Jackson. The flop came {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and a bet by Hellmuth was enough to get Jackson to fold.

Bruschi Rivers Flush

Nível 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Timothy Sullivan opened to 500,000 from the button and was called by short stack Renan Bruschi in the big blind.

It checked down to the river for the board to read {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Bruschi bet 1,000,000 which left him with 125,000 behind. Sullivan shoved and Bruschi flicked in the last of his chips.

Bruschi tabled his {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flush while Sullivan had {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} which was no good.

Seven for Sullivan

Nível 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Jeffrey Lo jammed in the small blind and was called by the shorter stacked Timothy Sullivan in the big blind.

Lo, with {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}, had Sullivan's {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} dominated but the at risk player found the double following the {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds} runout.

Bruschi Hears Some More From Hellmuth

Nível 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Renan Bruschi and Phil Hellmuth have had a friendly rivalry since Bruschi doubled up with ace-ten earlier today, and the Brazilian was just on the receiving end of more verbal jousting with the "Poker Brat."

Bruschi limped in and Hellmuth checked to see the {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop. Bruschi bet 250,000 before Hellmuth raised to 600,000.

Bruschi called and both players checked down the {8-Spades} turn and {k-Clubs} river. Bruschi showed {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a rivered two pair to win the pot.

"Wow. He called me with king-high. It won't be long, boys," Hellmuth said after the hand.

"I called you with the best hand, right," Bruschi replied.

Bruschi Continues Ascent

Nível 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

David Jackson limped in from the small blind and Renan Bruschi checked his option. Bruschi called a bet of 250,000 on the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop and did the same for 700,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn.

The {q-Clubs} river checked through and Jackson tabled {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Bruschi had a pair of tens with his {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and raked in the pot.

Hellmuth, Bruschi Trap Each Other

Nível 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Renan Bruschi limped in from the cutoff. "Now is your chance to trap me," Phil Hellmuth told him as he also limped from the button. Justin Saliba checked his option in the big blind.

"Everyone is trapping," Hellmuth continued as they saw a flop of {k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{k-Spades}. Saliba checked before Bruschi bet 250,000. Hellmuth came back with a min-raise to 500,000, and both opponents quickly folded.

"You going to call me with king-high again," Hellmuth asked Bruschi as he flashed the {k-Hearts} while taking the pot.

Jackson Takes From Hellmuth

Nível 32 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

David Jackson opened to 600,000 from the button and Phil Hellmuth called in the big blind.

Hellmuth checked in the dark before the {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop was dealt. Jackson bet 550,000 and was called.

Hellmuth checked again on the {j-Diamonds} turn but mucked when Jackson bet 1,700,000.

"I should have check-raised," said Hellmuth as the dealer began to push the pot to Jackson.
