Hughes Felts Opponent

Nível 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ray Hughes and the under-the-gun player had their stacks in the middle preflop with the latter at risk of elimination.

Under-the-gun: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-}{j-}
Ray Hughes: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-}

Hughes was behind but sailed in front when he made a flush on the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop. The board ran out with the {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Hughes scooped the pot.

Baker Makes a Wheel

Nível 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There was 7,500 in the pot on the {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. Andrew Kelsall checked in the big blind before David "ODB" Baker bet 2,000 from under the gun. Ray Henson called from the hijack and Kelsall mucked.

The {3-Hearts} turn checked through to the {4-Hearts} river and Baker bet 3,000.

Henson didn't like the bet and eventually mucked saying he had a set. Baker exposed his {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} to show that he backdoored a wheel.

Muehloecker Can't Hold

Nível 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There was 10,500 in the pot on the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop with Ali Abduljabbar betting 5,500 in the small blind. The cutoff then moved all in for 16,800. Thomas Muehloecker, on the button, raised to 70,000.

Abduljabbar thought for around two minutes before letting his hand go.

Cutoff: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Thomas Muehloecker: {a-}{k-}{j-}{7-}

The {3-Hearts} turn gave the cutoff a flush and the player then made a low on the {6-Spades} river to scoop the pot.

Dirksen Building a Stack

Nível 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

With 58,600 in the middle on the {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board, Dustin Dirksen bet 15,000 from middle position. His opponent in the hijack asked how much the player had behind and saw that he was covered.

After taking his time, he eventually laid his hand down and Dirksen raked in the pot.

"You probably made a good lay down. Two pair no good," said Dirksen.
