With 58,600 in the middle on the 
board, Dustin Dirksen bet 15,000 from middle position. His opponent in the hijack asked how much the player had behind and saw that he was covered.
After taking his time, he eventually laid his hand down and Dirksen raked in the pot.
"You probably made a good lay down. Two pair no good," said Dirksen.

The previous best turnout was in 2018, when Phil Galfond topped the 237-player field to win his third WSOP Bracelet and the $567,788 up top. That event generated a prize pool of $2,227,800.
Late registration is open until the start of Day 2 so there is till plenty of time for others to jump into the event.
