Kridle's Pocket Pair Good for Triple Up

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After a raise to 7,000 came from late position and the hijack called, action folded back around to middle position, where Bill Kridle moved all in for 17,000, getting calls from both opponents, who both covered him.

The {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} river was checked through, before the hijack put out a bet on the {4-Diamonds} turn and got a snap fold from late position, meaning there was no action left and the remaining players tabled their hands.

Bill Kridle: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Hijack: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Kridle was ahead and in good position to triple up, but still needed to dodge a six or a five on the river. That river came the {4-Clubs}, meaning Kridle's overpair was still good, and he scooped the pot and tripled up.

Benton Lands Knockout Punch

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With 16,000 in the middle and three players going to a flop of {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, Will Benton on the button bet 15,000 and was called by the big blind.

The cutoff raised to 50,000 leaving only 17,000 behind. Benton made the call and the big blind folded.

The cutoff checked the {8-Clubs} turn and Benton threw 20,000 chips in front of him. The cutoff made the call and was at risk.

Cutoff: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Will Benton: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {j-Spades} on the river was no help for the cutoff who headed to the exit. Benton celebrated with some shadow boxing finishing with a devastating uppercut.

Kite Flying High Through Double Up

Nível 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

Walan Kite wasted little time in moving all in from the cutoff for 32,000. He got one caller in middle position and the two were off to the races.

Walan Kite: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

"Classic Race," Kite said as the two tabled their hands.

The runout came {8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, offering no help to Kite's opponent, meaning his pocket sevens were still good. Kite scooped the pot and doubled his stack.
