Benny Glaser completed to get called by Naoya Kihara and bet his advantage on fourth street for Kihara to call. As of fifth street, Glaser check-called bets by Kihara and then glanced over at the other side of the table to guess whether or not he would be the one to receive three quarters.

Since Kihara had a pair, it was the Japanese mixed game specialist to earn three quarters of the pot.

Koray Aldemir raised in the cutoff, Johannes Becker made it three bets on the button, Taylor Paur cold-called from the big blind, and Aldemir called as well. All players drew two cards. Paur bet, Aldemir raised, Becker called, and Paur called as well.

Paur and Becker drew one on the second draw, while Aldemir stood pat. Paur checked, Aldemir bet, Becker called, and Paur called.

On the final draw, Paur and Becker again drew one while Aldemir stood pat. Paur checked, Aldemir bet, and Becker quickly folded. Paur reluctantly threw in the calling chips.

Aldemir rolled over for an eight-perfect and Paur mucked.

Cates Keeps Climbing

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Defending Champion Dan Cates appears poised to make another run at defending his title as he continues to accumulate chips here on Day 4.

Recently in a hand of Triple Draw, he splashed out a raise in first position and was only called by 2013 PPC champ Matthew Ashton.

The players each drew two cards and checked, with Ashton now drawing just one, while Cates still needed two.

Cates then called a bet from Ashton, and on the final draw, each player now stood pat.

On the final betting round, Ashton checked to Cates who thought for a moment, then fired out a bet.

Ashton pondered his decision for a couple of minutes before making the call.

"Jungleman" showed , and Ashton mucked his cards, sending a healthy pot to Cates, who now soars over 7,000,000 chips.

Kihara Loses Some to Glaser; Sternheimer Chips Up

Benny Glaser raised from under the gun and Naoya Kihara then three-bet in the small blind for Glaser to call.

On the first draw, both players took one new card and Kihara bet, Glaser called. Kihara took one new card and Glaser then patted as Kihara checked before he received the new card. A bet by Glaser ended the hand right there.

No-Limit Hold'em

In a limped battle of the blinds, Philip Sternheimer bet the flop for 60,000 and Glaser called in the big blind. The turn brought another bet worth 130,000 by Sternheimer and Glaser gave him a brief staredown before folding.

Over on the other table, John Racener raised it up for the vast majority of his stack in NLHE at least three times and managed to steal the blinds and big blind ante.

With one of the shortest stacks remaining, Philip Sternheimer moved all in for a bit over 600,000 over an early position raise from Dan Cates to 80,000.

With television cameras nearby and Cates standing to ponder his decision, the rail and his tablemates were eager to see if the defending champion would try to eliminate another opponent.

Ultimately after a couple of minutes of deliberation, Cates opted to fold, sending a small pot to Sternheimer.

John Racener got out of the way on fifth street when his highest card showing was a king. Daniel Weinman had bet with three hearts and an ace while Taylor Paur called. On Sixth, Weinman checked the superior board and subsequently check-raised for Paur to call with fewer than two full bets behind.

Weinman bet seventh street and Paur called to get shown a pair of queens and busted flush draw, which he had beat with just a pair of aces to avoid being left with fumes.
