Team Bogdan Binks River

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

PokerNews came up on the action when Trina Newberry of Team Newberry three-bet to 9,700 after a previous raise. Monteano Bogdan in late position then four-bet all in for 13,800, which put the button player in a tough spot. He had 2,800 already committed but he eventually let it go and Newberry called the all-in, which put Bogdan at risk.

Monteano Bogdan: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Trina Newberry: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Although Newberry was a huge favorite, the runout of {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{j-Hearts} gave Bogdan a straight, awarding him the pot for a big double.

Team Baryames Leaves Team Pickell Short

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Lisa Pickell of Team Pickell raised to 500 in early position and Chuck Baryames of Team Baryames called in the cutoff.

The dealer fanned a flop of {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Pickell check-called a bet of 400 from Baryames.

The {8-Diamonds} hit the turn and Pickell check-called another bet, this time the bet was 1,100.

When the {a-Clubs} hit the river Pickell checked for the third time and Baryames fired a bet of 3,400.

"You hit the ace didn't you!" Pickell said before making the call.

Baraymes tabled {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for two pair and Pickell mucked her hand as she said with a smile on her face, "I knew my pocket tens were good until the river."

Team Hyman Flops a Set

Nível 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

Three players saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}, creating a pot of 1,400. The big blind and the player in middle position checked to Jim Hyman of Team Hyman and he put out a bet of 600. The big blind check raised to 1,600 and only Hyman called.

The {4-Spades} hit the turn and the big blind continued for 2,100 and was met with a quick call from Hyman.

The {10-Clubs} hit the river and both players checked. Hyman instantly opened {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for a set of twos on the flop and his opponent mucked her hand.

Team Garcia Gets There on River

Nível 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

On a flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Richard Hallum of team Garcia led out for 1,500 and got one caller from Doug Friedman of Team Friedman, under the gun.

The turn came the {4-Clubs}, and this time Hallum checked and Friedman bet 3,000, which Hallum called.

But on the river {a-Spades}, Hallum moved all in for 12,000, much to the disgust of Friedman.

"Wow what a s**t river, what a s***ty s***ty river," he groaned as he folded {k-}{j-} for a flopped two pair. Hallum then showed him he made the right laydown when he tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}.

Friedman, who usually relies greatly on his good looks to intimidate opponents, vowed to make the "sickest comeback ever" and made a good start to that by doubling up the following hand.

Team Wheeler has Team Hawkins Talking to Himself

Nível 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

Maurice Hawkins of Team Hawkins raised under the gun and both Tarah Wheeler of Team Wheeler in the small blind and the big blind made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked to Hawkins who continued for 800. Wheeler put in the check-raise to 2,400 and only Hawkins called.

The {5-Diamonds} hit the turn and Wheeler checked to Hawkins before he fired out 2,400. Wheeler went in the tank for a bit saying, "How much do you have left? It's your first hand, right?"

Hawkins replied, "Started with 20,000."

After a few more seconds Wheeler jammed for about 26,000 and Hawkins went into the tank.

"If it weren't a tag team I would snap it off," Hawkins said. "I hate that it is a tag team, I'd feel bad if I lose. Asking if it's my first hand, maybe you don't even know who you're talking to. Trying to goad me into calling."

Eventually, Hawkins tossed his {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} face up and Wheeler took down the pot without showing.

Team Spera Off to Good Start

Nível 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

On a multi-way flop of {6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades}, action checked around to the cutoff, who then bet 3,000. Adam Spera of Team Spera called from under the gun and the rest folded.

The turn {9-Clubs} saw another check-call from Spera for 6,000 and the river {9-Diamonds} went check-check.

The cutoff showed {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} but Team Spera showed {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for top two pair, which won him the nice pot.

Team Fitzjarrald Make Trips

Nível 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

Six players saw a flop of {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and the action checked to Chris Fitzjarrald of Team Fitzjarrald as he tossed in a bet of 600. Only the button and the big blind made the call.

The {2-Diamonds} turn was quickly checked through to see the {k-Hearts} on the river. The big blind checked to Fitzjarrald and he put in a bet of 1,200. The button made the call and the big blind mucked.

Fitzjarrald tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} for trip kings and his opponent pushed his cards towards the dealer.
