Foxen Flips Oya to the Rail

Nível 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Masashi Oya
Masashi Oya

Alex Foxen raised to 215,000 in the cutoff and Dan Zack just called on the button. Masashi Oya ripped all in for 2,835,000 from the small blind for the second hand in a row. Foxen re-shoved all in and Zack quickly folded.

Masashi Oya: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Alex Foxen: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The flop came {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Foxen remained in the lead with his pair of nines. The {q-Clubs} on the turn gave Oya some more outs but he was unable to connect with the {7-Hearts} on the river.

Kabrhel Bluffs Off Half His Stack as Steven Doubles

Nível 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Brandon Steven
Brandon Steven

Martin Kabrhel raised to 200,000 and got calls from Sam Soverel and Brandon Steven.

The flop {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} checked to Kabrhel who bet 200,000. Soverel folded and action was on Steven.

"Don't do anything stupid Brandon," said Kabrhel. "I don't want to bust you."

Steven called and the turn was the {4-Hearts}. Again it checked to Kabrhel who bet 1,200,000.

"You want advice?" asked Kabrhel. "When someone is talking during a hand it's never a bluff."

Steven used a time bank before ultimately calling.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and it checked to Kabrhel. "You hit your flush," said Kabrhel. "I think I lost. How can I run this bad?

"Brandon I promise I'm not going to go all in," he continued before announcing a bet of 3,000,000 — almost a million more than Steven's stack. Steven snap-called.

Kabrhel tabled {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a stone-cold bluff while Steven had indeed rivered a flush with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to double through the two-time WSOP bracelet winner.

Petrangelo Chips Up with Two Pair

Nível 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 225,000 on the button and was called by Phil Ivey and Alex Foxen in the blinds. The flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and the action checked around to the {8-Hearts} on the turn.

Ivey checked again and Foxen tossed in a bet of 260,000. Petrangelo just called and Ivey stepped aside. The river was the {j-Hearts} which halted the action as both players checked. Foxen showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for top pair but Petrangelo held {k-Spades}{9-Hearts} for two pair to rake in the pot.

Kabrhel vs Mateos

Nível 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Blind on blind on the {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, Martin Kabrhel bet 100,000 and Adrian Mateos called.

The turn was the {a-Diamonds}. "On the flop we bet one hundred, so on the turn..." said Kabrhel as he bet 200,000. Mateos folded.

"Adrian folded! Last time he folded was November 1986," said Kabrhel, forgetting that Mateos was born in July 1994.

"Today is a special day," replied Mateos.

"No no no," said Kabrhel. "Tomorrow is a special day. You will be in my winner's photo Adrian. Brandon [Steven] can be in my winner's photo too!"

"Happy Person, Happy Wife"

Martin Kabrhel

"Do you have a wife?" Brandon Steven asked Martin Kabrhel from across the table.

"A wife?" replied Kabrhel. "Yes I have a wife."

"And is she the same?" asked Steven.

"Is she sane?" said Kabrhel, mishearing. His tablemates corrected him. "Yes she is the same as me. Otherwise how can she be with me?

"She will be coming soon. I will have to let her meet you Brandon. I promise - it's not a ghost. Why do you ask?"

"You seem like a happy person," replied Steven. "Happy person, happy wife."

Is This Real Life?

Nível 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel raised the minimum to 200,000 in the hijack and Sam Soverel flat-called on the button. The flop came {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and they both checked to the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and the {8-Diamonds} on the river.

Kabrhel finally led out with a bet of 100,000 and Soverel raised to 640,000. Kabrhel thought for a minute and then made the call. Soverel flipped over {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a rivered full house and Kabrhel was left talking to himself.

"Is this real life, Andy?" Kabrhel started by questioning the tournament floor. "Aces. I had aces. And he just takes the pot and doesn't say anything. No "sorry bro" or anything like that. I played it perfectly but the river. There's always a river."

Zack Bests Foxen

Nível 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

In a limped pot blind on blind, Alex Foxen checked to Dan Zack who bet 100,000. On a {2-}{8-}{q-} flop Foxen check-raised to 330,000 and Zack called.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Foxen bet 290,000. Zack called.

The pair checked the {a-Spades} river and Foxen tabled {j-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for two pair, queens and deuces. Zack showed {8-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a better two pair, queens and eights, and took down another pot.

Another Scalp for Zack as Katz Hits the Rail

Nível 15 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

Cary Katz shoved for 1,035,000 and it folded to Dan Zack on the button. He eyed the stacks of the players in the blinds before calling. The blinds both folded.

Katz tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and Zack made a noise as he showed {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

There was an ace in the window as well as a jack on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. The turn {j-Diamonds} left Katz drawing slim as the {8-Spades} hit on the river to send him to the rail.

Petrangelo Picks Away at Mateos

Nível 15 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Adrian Mateos opened to 175,000 from under the gun and Nick Petrangelo re-raised to 565,000 on his left. The action folded back to Mateos who called to go heads-up.

The flop fell {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Mateos check-called a bet of 275,000 from Petrangelo. The {9-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the {a-Spades} on the river.

Mateos checked for the third time and Petrangelo announced a bet of 900,000. Mateos gave it a brief thought but decided to throw his cards away.
