Ireland Pats For "the First Time All Night"

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

2-7 Lowball Triple Draw

Anderson Ireland patted on the third draw and announced to the table that it was "the first time he's been able pat all night".

Ireland got calls from two opponents, and happily showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a number four to take down the pot.

Hellmuth Gets Flush Taken Away, Gets Another One

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Phil Hellmuth was all-in on the flop with the board showing {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, he turned over {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs} for some straight and flush draws.

His opponent had {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades} for two pair and Hellmuth needed to improve.

The dealer turned over the {2-Clubs} on the turn, completing Hellmuth's flush, before the table realized there were already three burn cards. A tournament official was called over and it was ruled the {2-Clubs} was actually the burn card and a new turn had to be revealed.

Having his flush taken away, Hellmuth got another right away when the {a-Clubs} appeared. The river came the {3-Hearts} and Hellmuth doubled up.

"I wouldn't have been too upset," the "Poker Brat" said, noting he would've just re-entered anyway and had more chips than he currently has.

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Josh Arieh raised to 1,100 from the button and was called by the player in the small blind.

Arieh called as both players checked the {10-Spades} turn. The river came the {9-Diamonds} and the small blind checked again.

Arieh, this time, threw in a bet of 11,000 and his opponent mucked as the new Poker Hall of Fame nominee took the pot.

Madsen Makes Broadway

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Limit Hold’em

Jeff Madsen called a raise from Anatoliy Zyrin in the hijack to see the {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop. Madsen then check-called to the {j-Clubs} turn, with the action repeating to the {a-Diamonds} river.

Madsen checked again, and smiled when Zyrin checked behind. Madsen rolled over {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a straight, and Zyrin smirked after avoiding losing an extra bet on the river.

Doug O'Neal: {x-}{x-}/{2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}/{x-}
Simon Chahine: {x-}{x-}/{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}/{x-}
Maria Ho: {x-}{x-}/{a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts} - folded

Run It Once

Endless Series of Raises See Glaser, Woodward Chop-Up an Opponent

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Stud 8 or Better

Benny Glaser: {x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}/{x-}
Matt Woodward: {x-}{x-}/{2-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}/{x-}

The hand started innocently enough, with Benny Glaser completing, but it wouldn't end that way.

To Glaser's left, an opponent raised and Matt Woodward called, as did Glaser. On fourth street, Woodward bet, Glaser called, and the other player raised. Woodward re-raised and both players called.

A series of raises on fifth saw Woodward make it four bets, Glaser five, and both Woodward and the other opponent call. Woodward led out again on sixth, Glaser raised, the other player re-raised, Woodward re-raised all in, Glaser re-raised again, and the other player called all in.

After all the raising was sorted out, Glaser turned over {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a straight, Woodward {4-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a low, and the other all-in player trip aces for nothing but a walk to the exit.
