Grigorian Eliminated in Three-Way Pot

Nível 12 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Chris Grigorian
Chris Grigorian

Omaha Hi-Lo

Following a button raise by Kristijonas Andrulis and Andre Akkari coming along in the small blind, Chris Grigorian was all-in from the big blind for a very short stack and both opponents stuck around.

Akkari check-called bets by Andrulis on the {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop and {6-Clubs} turn. Another check-call by Akkari on the {5-Spades} river followed and all cards were revealed.

Akkari tabled the {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a straight to the six for the high portion of the pot while Andrulis had {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the wheel as he took the low. Grigorian only had the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and was sent to the rail.

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Michael Mizrachi: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} / {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} / {3-Hearts}
Michael Parizon: {j-Spades}{2-Hearts} / {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} / {8-Diamonds}

Michael Mizrachi was all-in with a short stack on sixth street and had the lead with a pair of aces and the nut flush draw. He had no low draw, however, which Michael Parizon had. The last street gave Parizon eights and deuces, which won it all when Mizrachi bricked with a blank trey.

Noori Tanks for an Eternity; Gets Shown a "Bluff" by Rodawig

Nível 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Michael Noori
Michael Noori

Omaha Hi-Lo

With 32,000 invested so far by Mike Noori to the {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} river, he faced another bet by Eric Rodawig who had very few chips behind in a battle of the shorter stacks.

Noori went into the tank for nearly six minutes and nobody called the clock. Nick Guagenti jokingly teased tossing in chips for the next blind when Noori finally folded.

"Please show a bluff," Guagenti said, and Rodawig flashed the {a-}{k-}{j-}{2-} before scooping the pot.

"That's not a bluff," Noori insisted.

Guagenti followed that up with, "this gotta be a new world record for a tank in a HORSE tournament" to which Hansu Chu smiled and nodded in agreement.

When all was said and done, Noori was left with very few chips.

Limit Hold'em

Kevin Gerhart raised under the gun and found a call from Aaron Kupin in the big blind.

Kupin check-called the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, and both played tapped the table after the {6-Clubs} turn. Gerhart bet one more time on the {7-Hearts} river and was called again by Kupin.

Gerhart showed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} as Kupin mucked, and the defending champion had almost doubled his stack early on.
