Peters Makes the Correct Call

Nível 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Joining the action on the board of {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs} action was three-ways. Alexandre Moreau bet 525,000 from the small blind and Matthew Wantman quickly folded in the big blind. David Peters thought before making the call from under the gun.

The river was {j-Hearts} and Moreau bet again this time for 525,000. A call would leave Peters with scraps. He went deep into the tank before the floor was called. Peters tossed in a calling chip. Moreau showed {6-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a pair of sixes while Peters showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} also for a pair of sixes. However the kicker played and Peters wins a big pot.

Peters Takes All

In a raised pot between David Peters and Jason Moyer, the flop read {3-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds} when Moyer bet 275,000 from the small blind. Peters, on the button, made the call.

The turn showed the {q-Hearts} and Moyer continued to bet, this time for 500,000. After some thinking, Peters called again.

All the chips went in the middle on the {5-Clubs} river. Moyer moved all in for a remaining stack worth 1,050,000, and Peters quickly called with a higher stack.

Moyer tabled {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} only to see {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} in Peter's hand for a flopped set. He was eliminated from the tournament while Peters grabbed the big pot.

Peters on a Roll

Nível 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

David Peters raised to 100,000 from the cutoff and Rayan Chamas raised to 900,000 effectively putting himself all in. Peters announced all in for 1,100,000 effective.

Rayan Chamas: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
David Peters: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Peters had Chamas dominated. Chamas didn't get the help he needed as the board came {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}. The pot puts Peters into the chip lead after starting the day with less than 20 big blinds as Peters aims for his second bracelet of the series.
