Pot-Pot from Katz

Nível 25 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Aaron Katz raised the pot to 420,000 from under the gun and Jared Bleznick was the only one to call from the big blind. The flop came {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and both players checked to the {4-Diamonds} on the turn.

Bleznick checked again and Katz announced a pot-sized bet of 1,020,000, which was pretty much all of his chips. Bleznick quickly folded and Katz chipped up.

Cowen Chips Up With Aggression

Nível 25 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Robert Cowen opened to 250,000 and was called by Ben Lamb in the small blind and Jason Mercier in the big blind. They headed to the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop on which it checked to Cowen, who continued for 580,000. Lamb wanted to see another card and tossed in calling chips while Mercier got out of the way.

After the {6-Clubs} turn, Lamb checked once more and a second barrel worth 850,000 by Cowen won the pot.

Katz Gets Shorter Again

Nível 25 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Jared Bleznick and Aaron Katz limped, as did Robert Cowen in the small blind. Veselin Karakitukov checked in the big blind and the {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop was checked all the way. Karakitukov led the {9-Clubs} turn for 210,000 and Bleznick raised it up to 650,000 in order to win the pot after all opponents folded.

Katz then raised the pot to 420,000 only for Ben Lamb to report to 1,440,000. It folded back to Katz, who also surrendered as well.

Cowen then raised to 240,000 in the cutoff and Bleznick defended the big blind. It was checked by Bleznick on the {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop and Cowen's bet worth 480,000 took it down.

Katz Finds a Double Up

Nível 26 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

The action folded to Aaron Katz in the small blind who made it 360,000. Ben Lamb called from the big blind and the flop came {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Katz ripped all in for his last 615,000 and Lamb quickly called.

Aaron Katz: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}

The {4-Clubs} on the turn and the {3-Clubs} on the river bricked out for Lamb and Katz scored himself a double up.

Aaron Katz Eliminated in 7th Place ($202,103)

Nível 26 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Aaron Katz
Aaron Katz

Veselin Karakitukov opened to 360,000 in early position and Aaron Katz three-bet to 1,305,000 on the button. The action folded back to Karakitukov who took almost two minutes before making the call.

The flop fell {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Karakitukov shoved all in. Katz instantly called off his last 800,000 chips and the cards were on their backs.

Aaron Katz: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Veselin Karakitukov: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Veselin Karakitukov was in rough shape, especially with one of his kings already dead. The {a-Clubs} on the turn improved Katz to a set of aces but Karakitukov picked up a flush draw. It was the {2-Clubs} on the river that made Karakitukov's flush and Katz was beside himself at the forthcoming, sending him out in seventh place.

Robert Cowen lost a limped pot to Veselin Karakitukov when he bet the {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop for 225,000 and then check-folded the {3-Diamonds} turn.

Two raise and take its later, Cowen raised to 300,000 and Jared Bleznick called on the button. The flop fell {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Cowen check-called for 350,000 to then lead the {6-Diamonds} turn for 375,000, which Bleznick called. On the {10-Spades} river, Cowen asked for the size of the pot before betting 1,700,000 and Bleznick folded instantly.

Jason Mercier Eliminated in 6th Place ($260,819)

Nível 26 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Jason Mercier
Jason Mercier

Ben Lamb opened the action with a button raise to 400,000 and Jason Mercier three-bet the pot to 1,350,000 in the small blind. After some consideration, Lamb called as he studied the remaining stack of Mercier and they headed to the {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop.

The shove by Mercier for around 1,300,000 followed and Lamb snap-called.

Jason Mercier: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Ben Lamb: {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Lamb had a pair to go with his flush draw and the {k-Spades} turn provided the flush, while Mercier had improved to a set o kings. The board didn't pair anymore as a blank {a-Clubs} followed to eliminate Mercier in 6th place for a payday of $260,819.

All five remaining players now bag and tag their chips, all counts and a recap of today's action are to follow.
