Badacey

In a battle of the blinds, Ben Diebold raised his small blind and was called by Brian Rast in the big blind.

On the first draw, each took three cards and Diebold check-called a bet from Rast.

Diebold took three again on the second draw, with Rast only taking one.

Diebold-check-called another bet from Rast before drawing two on the final draw, while Rast took one.

After Diebold checked once more, Rast bet again, but this time Diebold had to fold, sending several bets to his opponent who is now over 600,000.

Felipe Ramos Eliminated in 10th Place ($25,522)

Badeucey

Felipe Ramos pushed all-in from the button and was called by Naoya Kihara in the small blind.

On the first draw, both discarded two cards and Ramos added "let's see who plays this better."

Kihara then patted the remaining two draws while Ramos needed one card on each round.

"I think you are freerolling me," Kihara said as the cards were revealed.

Naoya Kihara: {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a three-card eight-trey and an eighty-four
Felipe Ramos: {7-Spades} / {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a three-card eight-six draw with an eighty-seven draw

Ramos was in trouble and spiked the {2-Hearts} as the last card to get scooped, ending his short stack ninja ride in 10th place for a payday of $25,522.

Rast Roars Over a Million

Nível 20

Badugi

A pair of big pots have just gone Brian Rast's way.

In the first, with approximately 300,000 in the pot at showdown, Rast rolled over {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} versus Mike Gorodinsky to drag the pot.

In the next, on the final round of betting with a little less than 300,000 in the middle, a bet from Rast got a call out of Ben Diebold, with Rast this time showing {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{a-Spades}.

With a strong round of Badugi, Rast has now come back from a short stack to one of the chip leaders.

Gorodinsky Wins With "Badugi" Hand in PLO

Nível 20

Pot-Limit Omaha

Greg Mueller bet the {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades} turn for 25,000 in the small blind and Mike Gorodinsky called in the big blind. On the {k-Hearts} river, Mueller check-called for 75,000 and Gorodinsky tabled the {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a full house, fours full of tens, and that won the pot.

"Badugi!" Ben Diebold exclaimed when he saw the four cards of Gorodinsky and that caused some grins across the table.

Zyrin Doubles Through Claassen

Nível 20
Anatolii Zyrin
Anatolii Zyrin

5 Card Draw High

The first major setback for Christopher Claassen emerged when he got it in against Anatolii Zyrin and it was a typical setup hand in 5-Card draw. Claassen ended up with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts} for two pair, aces and nines.

However, the {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} of Zyrin for a set of fours secured the double for 405,000 and the Russian surpassed Claassen on the leaderboard.

Ohel Gets a Big Chunk From Mueller

Pot-Limit Omaha

Greg Mueller raised to 37,000 in the hijack and was called by Randy Ohel in the big blind.

The players checked the {5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, then on the {j-Spades} turn, Ohel led for 55,000, which Mueller called.

The river brought a board pairing {5-Diamonds}, and Ohel led for the size of the pot (265,000).

Mueller put a stack of red chips forward for the call, but received bad news.

Ohel showed {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for tens full of fives to drag a huge pot and put himself into the chip lead, while Mueller's stack took a significant hit.
