Mike Matusow hesitated to bet seventh street against a short-stacked Adam Friedman, who had a favouring board. Both eventually checked and had the 
for an eighty-five as the winning hand.

Friedman then bet against Andrew Kelsall, who called on fourth and tanked on fifth. In a very jovial atmosphere, both talked about the possible outcome and Friedman mentioned "you could already be drawing dead, I think you should fold." Kelsall referred to some additional bonus equity for knocking out the three-time champ of this event but eventually folded.
