Towards the end of the first level, there was yet another all-in and call. This time, however, there was no split pot as Eric Kurtzman's seat was empty and Naoya Kihara essentially commenced Day 1 of this tournament with a double stack.
Soon after, the field grew to nearly 50 entries as Carol Fuchs and Craig Chait entered the fray,
