Onikoul Spikes a King on the River to Stay Alive

Nível 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Arkadi Onikoul
Arkadi Onikoul

Arkadi Onikoul opened to 800,000 in middle position and Mitchell Halverson three-bet to 1,800,000 as the player next to act. Andreas Kniep in the small blind then four-bet to 4,000,000. Onikoul took a moment before announcing a five-bet shove worth about 15,000,000. Halverson folded and Kniep called.

Arkadi Onikoul: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Andreas Kniep: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Onikoul's rail broke out in song when they saw their guy was all-in but quieted down when he informed them he was behind.

"Bad timing, guys," he said.

The flop of {2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} gave Onikoul additional outs with a backdoor flush draw and his rail was calling for a heart, which didn't come on the {6-Diamonds} turn.

"Heart!" someone on the rail yelled before Jareth East informed them that a heart on the river wouldn't help Onikoul.

Onikoul needed a king and a king only to stay alive, and the table went silent when the river brought the {k-Clubs}.

"Sorry, man. I was getting ready to shake your hand," Onikoul timidly told his opponent after the suck-out.

Onikoul Turns a Straight

Nível 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Jareth East raised to 800,000 in the hijack and was called by Sean Ragozzini on the button and Arkadi Onikoul in the big blind. The flop fell {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {7-Clubs} on the turn.

Onikoul led out with a bet of 1,800,000 which got East to fold but Ragozzini stuck around for the {6-Hearts} on the river. Onikoul checked this time and Ragozzini thought for a brief moment but decided to check it back. Onikoul turned over {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a straight and Ragozzini conceded.

Oliver led out with a bet of 500,000 on the {j-Diamonds} river and Ragozzini raised to 2,600,000. Oliver called and then mucked when Ragozzini showed {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for trip jacks.

Nicolas Dumont Eliminated in 23rd Place ($241,800)

Nível 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Nicolas Dumont
Nicolas Dumont

Nicolas Dumont moved all in for 2.65 million under the gun and Nicolas Vayssieres isolated by three-bet jamming over the top for 8.67 million from middle position. The rest of the players folded and it was off to the races.

Nicolas Dumont: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Nicolas Vayssieres: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop have Vayssieres a set and left Dumont looking to go runner-runner. The {6-Spades} turn took away any shot of that happening, and Dumont was drawing dead headed to the river, which was the meaningless {3-Diamonds}.

Nível 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Alejandro Lococo raised to 800,000 from the button and Chase Bianchi defended his big blind to see a flop of {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, which both players checked.

After the dealer burned and turned the {10-Spades}, Bianchi bet 1.2 million and Lococo called.

Bianchi then upped his bet to 2.5 million on the {7-Spades} river and Lococo called. Bianchi tabled the {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a straight and it was good as Lococo sent his hand to the muck.
