Event #79: Poker Hall of Fame Bounty
Dia 1 Começado
Welcome to Day 1 of Event #79: $1979 Poker Hall Of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold’em of the 2021 World Series of Poker at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Day 1 is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, November 17th, at 11:00 a.m. local time.
This is a new event for the 2021 World Series of Poker. Players will receive the year a Poker Hall of Famer was inducted in dollars from the prize pool for each one they eliminate. For example, Doyle Brunson was inducted in 1988. Therefore, eliminating him would earn the winning player a $1,988 bounty. Players can redeem bounties after 8:00 p.m local time on Day 1.
The Poker Hall of Fame was established in 1979. Though the Hall of Fame is virtual in nature, its membership includes poker's most influential players and other important contributors to the game. There are 25 living members, and the honor of Poker Hall-of-Famer has been bestowed upon 56 individuals.
Notable Hall of Famer’s such as Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Barry Greenstein, Erik Seidel, and Barbara Enright have been spotted playing in some events this year at the 2021 World Series of Poker. Odds are high that a few of them will be playing this historic event.
All players will receive 30,000 starting chips and will play a total of 17 levels on Day 1, with each level lasting 40-minutes each. There will be a 20-minute break every three levels with a 75-minute break after Level 9 (~5;40 p.m.). Late registration will remain open until the end of the dinner break (~6:55 p.m.)

Matt Affleck raised to 300 preflop with Barbara Enright calling from the hijack, and the big blind defended.
The flop came out with the big blind checking and Affleck continuation betting for 500, followed by Enright raising to 1,500. The big blind quickly folded, and Affleck called.
The turn saw Affleck check to Enright, who bet 2,000, which Affleck responded to by raising to 7,000, which Enright called.
The river saw Affleck lead out for 5,500 where Enright called, and Affleck said, "good call." Affleck turned over for a missed gutshot, and Enright turned over for a full house, which was good for the pot.
