Kamp Takes From Mateos at Table Full of Towers
PokerNews own Dannah Kamp, who recently finished 13th in the Monster Stack event is back and building towers at a tough table with several large stacks, including high-stakes crusher Adrian Mateos.
In a recent pot, Kamp opened to 33,000 from early position and got called by Mateos in the big blind.
After Mateos checked an flop, Kamp continued for 40,000 and got a fold from Mateos.
Kamp currently has the biggest stack at the table, but there are plenty of large stacks around her, all hovering around the 500,000 chip mark.

A series of preflop raises saw 2014 WSOP Main Event Champion Martin Jacobson 72,000 stack in the middle from the small blind against Tim Garles from middle position.

Garles was ahead with his made hand of tens until the the flop hit the felt giving Jacobson the nut flush.
The turn left Garles drawing dead and the river secured Jacobson the double.
Garles was left with 9,000 chips afterwards and was eliminated shortly after.
