Barrett Eliminates Stavrakis

Nível 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action was discovered with Filippos Stavrakis who moved all-in for his remaining chips preflop and was called by Maury Barrett.

The hands were tabled and it was the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} held by Stavrakis that trailed the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts} held by Maury.

The dealer spread the flop of {q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Maury remained in the lead.

The turn card was the {10-Diamonds} and changed nothing.

The river card was the {8-Hearts} and that sealed the deal for Barrett who scooped the pot with an ace-high heart flush and a nut low, which in turn eliminated Stavrakis.

Noomis Jones

With {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} on the board and nearly 75,000 in the pot, Brian Orrico bet 24,000 and Noomis Jones shoved with Orrico covered. Orrico called.

Brian Orrico: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Noomis Jones: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts}

With around 200,000 in the pot and {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} on the board, Adam Stone got it in for just over 200,000. Tsugunari Toma was the lone caller immediately to his left.

Adam Stone: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Tsugunari Toma: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}

The river was a brick {5-} for Toma's straight draw and Stone secured the double up with three jacks.

Matusow Doubles Through Jones

Nível 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

The action was picked up on a flop of {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Noomis Jones who had tossed out a bet of 32,000 chips and was raised the pot by Mike Matusow for 112,000 total. After he tanked for a few, Jones opted to call.

The dealer burned and turned the {2-Clubs} and Matusow immediately moved all-in. This sent Jones deep into the tank.

"I know your exact hand," said Matusow.

"I know, but I do not think I can fold," Jones responded. "You got a 9-ball or a jack in there, dealer?"

"Exactly," mentioned Matusow.

Eventually, Jones opted to call and the hands were tabled and it was the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds} held by Matusow that were in the lead against the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} held by Jones.

The dealer dealt the river card {8-Hearts} and that sealed the deal for a Matusow double-up, and he was awarded the pot.
