The hand was discovered on a completed board of and Maria Ho fired out a bet of 135,000 chips and that covered her opponent Brian Rast. This sent Rast deep into the tank. He eventually opted to fold, and Ho was pushed the pot and chipped up to 490,000.
David Funkhouser was the bring-in but moved all-in for 7,000 and Toby Lewis had already completed by then for the full 8,000. The floor was called and the situation was explained. Lewis was then given the options to call the 7,000 or raise and he opted for the latter to force out all other players at the table. Lewis made a nine-seven perfect until sixth and Funkhouser was drawing dead.

Nicholas Julia raised to 11,000 in an early position and was called by Paul Holder in the cutoff, table short stack Yuri Dzivielevski called out of the big blind. Julia took two cards, Holder patted and Dzivielevski drew one. The Brazilian then jammed for 11,500 and Julia folded while Holder called.
Frankie O'Dell checked fifth street and Jonathan Williams checked behind. Sixth street brought a check-call by O'Dell and he then said "go ahead" to Williams, indicating that he also checked seventh. Williams bet and O'Dell called to get shown for a pair of aces and an eight low. O'Dell won the high pot with the for nines and sevens and they chopped it up.
Kevin Gerhart patted the final draw and so did Robert Mizrachi. No further chips were invested by either player and Gerhart tabled a . "Not a flush," he said as the hand contained four hearts and one diamond.
Andrew Kelsall called bets by Qinghai Pan throughout a board and was shown the by Pan for the queen-high flush. That won the pot and Pan chipped up.
However, soon after he was no longer the chip leader at the table as Colleen Long surpassed her table neighbour. Kao "Flexx" Saechao was nowhere to be found and Long recalled the final hand of the Day 1 chip leader, who three-bet jammed with ace-queen right into the pocket aces of Long.
Three ways to fifth street, Toby Lewis bet to force out another player but Marco Johnson opted to raise, which Lewis reluctantly called. Lewis then bet sixth when he paired his nine and Johnson came along. The Brit also bet seventh and earned a call by Johnson to announce aces up with the . However, Johnson had that beat with for an eight-high straight.
