Fields Doubles Through Arieh

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Eric Fields opened to 21,000 in early position and Josh Arieh three-bet to 55,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Fields who jammed all in for 165,000. Arieh asked for a count and then reluctantly threw in a call.

Eric Fields: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Josh Arieh: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The flop of {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} left Fields in the lead with his pair of aces. Arieh was left drawing to just two outs and neither the {7-Diamonds} on the turn nor the {8-Hearts} on the river was enough.

Nathan Zimnik
Nathan Zimnik

Chance Kornuth in the big blind was in a heads-up pot against Nathan Zimnik on the button on a board reading {9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

Kornuth checked on the turn and called a bet of 92,000 from Zimnik. The river brought the {3-Hearts} and Kornuth led out with a bet that looked to be around 230,000. Zimnik instantly called.

Zimnik turned over {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for a set of kings and Kornuth mucked his hand.

Kakon Cracks Aces

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In a four-bet pot with over 250,000 already in the middle, the dealer spread the flop of {8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. William Kakon was facing an all-in shove for around 60,000 and Kakon snap-called.

Kakon whipped over {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for trip fours after out-flopping his opponent who held pocket aces. The {2-Clubs} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river secured the pot for Kakon as he eliminated his opponent.

Bronshtein Survives; Roberts Eliminated in Four-Way All-In

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Yuval Bronshtein
Yuval Bronshtein

Brent Roberts raised to 21,000 and Amir Mirrasouli tossed in 6,000 chips, thinking it had just been a limp by the initial raiser. He was then forced to call the raise and Yuval Bronshtein clicked it back to 54,000. Sterling Savill reraised the pot for 207,000 and Roberts called all-in. Mirrasouli tossed in a chip once more and was then made aware that Savill had repotted as the dealer called for the floor.

Since it was already the second action for Mirrasouli in which he had tossed in a chip, he was forced to call the repot by Savill and Bronshtein then called all-in. The flop fell {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Savill jammed for 97,000, Mirrasouli asked for a count and made the call.

Brent Roberts: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}
Yuval Bronshtein: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Sterling Savill: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Amir Mirrasouli: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The board completed with the {j-Clubs} turn and {6-Spades} river for Roberts to bust and Bronshtein to nearly quadruple up. Savill doubled through Mirrasouli, who earned no portion of the pot at all.

"Back to where I started," Bronshtein said with a big grin on the face after he was done stacking up the chips.

Le's Hero Call Rewarded With a Double

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Tommy Le
Tommy Le

All other players were already gone but Tommy Le was still involved in a pot that ultimately put his tournament life at risk. He was involved in the action from the cutoff and Michael Batell was the sole remaining opponent out of the big blind. They had created a pot of 164,000 to the {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Spades} river on which Batell bet the pot.

Le was deep in the tank several minutes into the break and then ultimately called for the last 113,000. Batell rolled over the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} for just a pair of eights, and Le doubled with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a pair of kings.
