Reichenstein Lays it Down

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Schmertz opened to 24,000 from under-the-gun and was three-bet to 55,000 by Uri Reichenstein in the cutoff. Action folded back to Schmertz, who called.

Schmertz then led out for 80,000 on the {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, to which Reichenstein said, "That is the weirdest thing I have ever seen," before letting his hand go.

Howard Holds, Scores A Triple

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Taylor Howard moved all-in from early position for 168,000 and Steve Karp called barely covering Howard. The action then folded to Koveh Waysei in the big blind who had both players covered. Waysei went into the tank eventually making the decision that there was too much money in the pot and that his hand was too good not to call. They went three-ways to the flop with tabled hands.

Taylor Howard: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Steve Karp: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Koveh Waysei: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Howard's ace-king high was good enough for a triple up putting a dent in Waysei's stack as well as leaving Karp short.

Theologis Ousts Clark

Nível 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Zach Clark was all in for about 120,000 on a {6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop against Alexandros Theologis, who had Clark covered.

Alexandros Theologis: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Zach Clark: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Theologis had Clark's flush draw dominated. The {6-Clubs} turn improved neither player but the {4-Hearts} river gave Theologis the nut flush, eliminating Clark in the process.
