Lynn Wins Huge Pot Leaving Several Short

Nível 23 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Peter Lynn
Peter Lynn

A massive four-way pot developed at table 512 with Peter Lynn raising in early position and getting three calls from Marc Booth in the cutoff, Jason Papastavrou on the button, and Colin Wickersheim in the small blind.

Wickersheim started by drawing one while the other three players drew two. Another round of bets went in with all four players seeing a second drawing round, and each player now drawing one.

Wickersheim checked, Lynn bet, Booth raised, Papastavrou and Wickersheim folded, and Lynn called, leaving a heads-up final round of draws.

Each player stood pat, and Lynn led out with a bet that Booth called.

Lynn showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and won the hand after Booth mucked to win a huge pot and leave his opponent short on chips.

Papastavrou and Wickersheim are also now among the shortest stacks left, while Lynn approaches the chip lead.

Adam Owen Eliminated in 8th Place ($7,518)

Nível 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Adam Owen

Adam Owen began the day as the chip leader, but unfortunately he won't be around for Day 3, falling just shy of the final table.

Stephen Deutsch raised in the cutoff, and Owen three-bet from the small blind, committing 75,000 of his remaining 115,000 chips. Mark Fraser called from the big blind, as did Deutsch.

Each player drew two cards, with Owen checking, Fraser betting, and then Deutsch and Owen both calling.

Owen drew two again, Fraser drew one, and Deutsch patted.

Owen and Fraser both checked to Deutsch, who bet. Owen flicked in his last 15,000 chips, and Fraser called the full 50,000 bet to start a side pot.

Owen still needed to draw one, while Fraser now patted and Deutsch broke his hand, drawing one.

Fraser bet the end and got a call from Deutsch.

Fraser showed {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} for number two. Deutsch showed a losing {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, and Owen flipped over his cards and tightly squeezed them, saying he was drawing live to number one.

Owen however revealed a paired {5-}, ending his run in 8th place, while Fraser takes over the chip lead as the players merge onto the unofficial seven-handed final table.
