Brian Tate

Brian Tate went all-in for his last 15,000 from under the gun, Jason Daly raised from the small blind, and Venkata Tayi called in the big blind.

No further betting went on between Daly and Tayi through the rest of the hand. Both of those players patted after the second draw, while Tate took one.

Tayi showed {2-}{3-}{5-}{7-}{8-}, and that hand was the winner. Tate exited the tournament in 10th place for an $8,5852 payday.

Badugi

Hal Rotholz won the first pot of the day on the secondary table and Carlos Rodriguez then raised from the cutoff. Vladimir Peck called in the small blind and Mike Gorodinsky filled up from the big blind. On the first draw, Rodriguez patted while Peck took one card and Gorodinsky took two.

The action checked to Rodriguez, who bet and earned two calls. On the second draw, Rodriguez patted again and his two opponents took one card each. Gorodinsky bet with 5,000 behind and Rodriguez called. Peck raised and Gorodinsky called all-in, while Rodriguez folded.

Peck then patted and Gorodinsky took one card. Gorodinsky was sweating the {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} but was in dire shape as Peck had the {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for a Six-Dugi. The final card for Gorodinsky was the {6-Clubs} and that spelled the end for him in 12th place for $8,582.
