As the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events series nears the half-way point, it's time for Event #14: The Big 500. This two-day event begins today with Day 1 and finishes on August 20th with Day 2.
Players get 25,000 chips for their $500 buy-in, and they will play 15-minute levels through to the final table. As is typical with GGPoker events, once players are seated at the final table, the blind structure will change from timed levels to 20 hands per level, and the blinds will be rolled back at the final table to ensure 40 big blind average stacks.
There is no guarantee on today's event, but there are already nearly 300 players in the game with more than an hour to go till cards go in the air, putting the current prize pool at just over $130,000. There are 15 levels of late registration for today's game, so there's plenty of time to jump in late.
Among the players in the game already are GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu, as well as streamers Lukas "Robin Poker" Robinson, Yu Chung "WNCouple" Chang, and Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker. Friends of GG are also well represented with Jessica Teusl and poker author and satellite specialist Dara O'Kearney.
