Those who are afraid of a cold winter need not worry as scintillating poker action at GGPoker will keep the blood flowing throughout December and January. Following alongside the 2020 WSOP Main Event, GGPoker is hosting the WSOP Winter Online Circuit Series, with a whopping $100,000,000 guaranteed as we head into 2021.

The festival kicked off two days ago on Sunday, December 13, 2020, and will run all the way into the new year on Sunday, January 10, 2021. The series offers 18 WSOP Circuit Ring Events which boast over $30 million in guarantees alone, plus a massive palate of side events that make up for the remaining amount.

It's the second WSOP Online Circuit series of the year after a successful maiden series that ran May 3-31 which crowned "schimmelgodx" the Main Event champ for $1,271,218, while "800-522-4700" won more than $2.1m in the High Roller Championship, defeating UK star Patrick Leonard heads-up.

Botton Chips Up Further

Nível 39 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Brunno Botteon limped the small blind and Damian Salas checked his option in the big blind. The {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop was checked and Botteon bet the {7-Clubs} turn for 700,000, Salas quickly got out of the way.

Botteon then min-raised the button to 800,000 and Manuel Ruivo stuck around in the big blind. The Portuguese checked the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop and a bet worth 750,000 by Botton earned the next pot.

Manuel Ruivo Eliminated in 3rd Place ($728,177)

Nível 40 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Manuel Ruivo

Manuel Ruivo limp-jammed out of the small blind to boost his stack as Brunno Botteon forfeited his raise to 1.25 million out of the big blind.

In the very next hand, it was Damian Salas that limped in and Ruivo raised to 1.5 million in the big blind. Salas filled up and they headed to the {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Salas opted to check and Ruivo bet 750,000 with a stack of around 6 million at his disposal. The check-raise to 5 million by Salas followed.

"Five million? That's almost my all-in ..." Ruivo gasped and then announced his all-in, which Salas snap-called.

Manuel Ruivo: {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Damian Salas: {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

The {8-Spades} turn gave Salas an open-ended straight draw on top and Ruivo calmly added "could be worse." It indeed came worse as the {5-Clubs} river improved Salas to a flush and sent Ruivo to the rail in 3rd place for $728,177.
