"IseeyOurcard" on a Hearter; Busts Three Including Mateos

"IseeyOurcard" has been on a heater. They were already up to more than 1.3 million in chips and then knocked out three players in a row. One of them included Adrian Mateos when they showed the small blind with {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Mateos called from the big blind with {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

The board came {6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} and that spelled the end for the Spaniard and UK resident.

Up next was "khatteT4tte" who could not hold up with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} versus {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades} as "IseeyOurcard" nailed the {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds} board for trips kings.

Double KO for Soyza

Michael Soyza
Michael Soyza

"Transurfing" raised to 6,000, with a limited amount behind, and Michael Soyza simply ripped it in from the small blind, covering all remaining active players. Both "Si se puede" and "Transurfing" called it off.

"Transurfing: {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
"Si se puede": {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Michael Soyza: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for Soyza to flop a set, eliminate two players, and jump all the way to the top of the leaderboard.

Traditionally, World Series of Poker bracelet events have been of a slow-paced nature. Multi-day events were all but the rule up until a few years ago when the first one-day online events started gracing the schedule. In 2020, with the WSOP being fully played out online, one-day events have become the standard instead.

Still, even most events in the digital arena sport blind levels ranging between 15-20 minutes, with the occasional turbo event clocking in at 8 minutes. Tonight, Event #34: $525 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em lives up to its name and will be the fastest-ever paced bracelet event at just 4 minutes a level.

Players will start of with 25,000 in chips (125bb) and late registration will be open for 60 minutes. Up to two reentries are allowed if players run out of chips, with progressive bounties worth $125 each to start off with. Plenty of big names have already registered for this event, including Felipe Ramos, Fedor Holz, Pete "TurboPete" Chen, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Michael Soyza, and Danny Tang.
