Mueller Out-Kicked

Nível 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Greg Mueller opened with a raise in middle position and was met with a caller on his immediate left, along with Michael Wang in the big blind.

The {2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{a-Clubs} board checked through to the river where the player last to act bet 2,000.

Wang folded, but Mueller called, and when his opponent tabled his {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, Mueller flashed what looked like {a-}{10-} and then folded.

Tuhrim Hovering Around Starting Stack

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Richard Tuhrim has been hovering around the starting stack ever since he sat down in the Main Event. He just won a small pot when two players limped in front of him. He raised to 2,000 from the small blind and that was enough to make the player in the big blind fold.

The two limpers also got out of the way and Tuhrim collected the chips.

Aoki Gets Paid With Top Pair

Nível 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

At a table containing Barstool Sports blogger Eric @BarstoolNate Nathan, Mikiyo Aoki raised to 700 from the button, and a player in the small blind made the call.

The small blind check-called a bet of 1,000 on the {2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, then check-called 2,100 on the {a-Clubs} turn. The {8-Hearts} river was checked by the small blind for a third time, and Aoki bet 3,000. The small blind called, only to muck upon being shown {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

The 7,875th player has just registered for the Main Event, and with that last year's total has been surpassed to make the 2019 WSOP Main Event officially the second-biggest WSOP Main Event of all time. The record still stems from 2006, when Jamie Gold overcame an 8,773-player field.

With late registration open up until the start of Day 2c, a lot more players are expected to late register for this event.
