Templeton Passes the Test

John Templeton was facing serious aggression on the turn and river with big chips on the line.

The under the gun player put in a 20,000 bet on the turn with the board showing , and Templeton, three seats to the left, thought for a minute before putting in the call.

The river came the and the under the gun player snap shoved for his last 52,000. The dealer counted out the bet and Templeton tanked for several minutes, contemplating the decision. He finally put in the call and his opponent showed . The bluff didn't work this time, as Templeton showed .

Templeton complemented his opponent for the ambitious bluff attempt, and after the big win now stands at 225,000 chips.
