Menezes Defends and Wins Just Before the Dinner Break

Derek Bowers raised to 15,000 and got called by Dennis Durante on the button and Denilson Menezes from his small blind.

After the three players checked through to the turn on a board of , Menezes led out for 15,000 and only Durante made the call. Menezes continued for 25,000 on the river, which was more than Durante had left in his stack, and was enough to send Durante's cards to the muck.

Magott Applies Pressure

A player in late position raised it to 16,000 and Krzyszof called from his big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of , Magott checked, the late-position player continued for 15,000 and Magott check-called. Magott checked again on the turn and the late-position player put out a bet of 35,000, which sent Magott into the tank.

After about a minute Magott pushed forward two stacks of 5,000 chips, which left him with about 30,000 behind and would put his opponent all in if he made the call. The late-position player re-checked his cards and thought for about 30 seconds before sending his cards to the muck.

Butcher Catches Lucky River to Claim Bunal's Bounty
