Welcome to Day 1 of Event #66: $1,500 Limit Hold'em

The first day of Event #66: $1,500 Limit Hold'em is set to begin at 3 p.m. local time. Last year, Robert Nehorayan took down this event after topping a field of 596 players to earn $173,568 and his first WSOP bracelet.

There are only three limit hold'em events on the 2019 World Series of Poker schedule, with the next event being the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship event (Event #72). Last year many notables took a shot at this event including former WSOP bracelet event champions Daniel Negreanu, Ari Engel, Joe McKeehen, Phil Hui, Chris Ferguson and Ryan Laplante.

This is a three-day event and the plan today is to play ten levels of 60 minutes each with a 15-minute break every two levels. Late registration will be available through the first eight levels.
