Zerjav Continues to Build

Nível 7 : 300/600, 0 ante

After an early head start in the counts, Blaz Zerjav is still building and recently he won another pot, this time without showdown.

Zerjav opened to 1,600 in early position and got two callers, one from the button and one from the small blind. On a {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, he and the player in the blinds check-called the button's 2,500 bet.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and all three players checked. The river card was the {6-Hearts} and Zerjav took the betting lead, which got snap folds from both players and he netted the pot.

Maxim Panyak in Multi-Way All In

Nível 7 : 300/600, 0 ante

Kate Hoang called 600 and was met with a raise to 2,400 from a player in late position. Maxim Panyak called from the small blind and the big blind raised to 10,200. Hoang moved aside but the other two players made the call.

Panyak checked the {3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Hearts} board and the big blind moved all in for 15,300. The player in late position went over the top and Panyak snap-called.

Maxim Panyak: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Late position: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Big blind: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The {j-Clubs} turn gave Panyak a set and {5-Spades} river secured the high pot for Panyak who chipped up, while the other two players had to settle for a split pot on the low.

Seidel Eliminated by Mince

Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel has just come unstuck after getting his short stack all in preflop with aces versus aces.

Bill Mince: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Erik Seidel: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Though Mince had the better kicker, it was his two clubs that proved favourable, hitting a flush by the river on the {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board. With no low hand possible, all the chips went to Mince and Seidel had to make his way to the exit.

Ribkin Doubles After Hitting One-Outter

Nível 8 : 400/800, 0 ante

Jason Ribkin spoke to PokerNews just now after hitting his dream card after getting it in flush versus flush.

Ribkin ran through the hand, explaining that he'd opened to 2,000 and was called by three players. On the {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, it went check-check before a 7,000 bet was made. The other two players folded before Ribkin went all in and his opponent called him.

Jason Ribkin: {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{x-}

It was nut flush versus a nine-high flush until the {8-Spades} turn changed all that, giving Ribkin the straight flush. The {k-Hearts} river completed the board and the cruel runout has left one player very short, while Ribkin is up to 63,000.
