Timothy Costello

Sandrine Phan raised to 650,000 under the gun and Timothy Costello pushed his last 1,700,000 in the middle one seat over. Jeff Hakim tanked for some time before announcing all in as well for 10,700,000. The rest of the players folded.

Timothy Costello: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Jeff Hakim: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Costello was in bad shape for his tournament's life and found no help on the board {2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} to be eliminated in 15th place.

The Final Day of Event #59: $600 Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em Championship Starts at 2 p.m.

Kathy Liebert
Kathy Liebert

Out of a four-figure field of 6,140 players, only 83 competitors will make their way back to the felt today to continue to battle it out until a winner is crowned in Event #59: $600 Deepstack No-Limit Hold'em Championship.

Returning as the chip leader will be Lang Lee with a massive stack of 6,075,000. Lee already has a WSOP circuit ring and will be looking to match it with a WSOP bracelet. Closely trailing him is bracelet winner Will Givens with 6,025,000. Givens will try to add another bracelet to his collection. Steffen Logen rounds off the top three with 5,485,000 in the bag and has a shot at claiming a title in his first WSOP cash ever.

Other notables that also bagged a decent stack include three-time ring winner Carl Brewington (5,130,000), as well as bracelet winner Dan Matsuzuki (4,630,000). Some of the other big names that are still in contention are Jason Wheeler (2,300,000), Jeff Hakim (1,700,000) and Kathy Liebert (755,000).

The remaining players have all secured at least $3,549 but all eyes are on the first-place price of $397,903, the title, and that famous gold bracelet.

Cards will be back in the air at 2 p.m. local time and action will resume at Level 28 with blinds of 40,000/80,000 with an 80,000 ante. There will be a 15-minute break every two levels and the plan is to play down to a winner.
