Mike Krasienko had already been missing and he was joined on the rail by Bryce Yockey and Scott Baumstein.

Yockey was first to fall when John Racener opened to 20,000 on the cutoff and Wasim Korkis called on the button. Yockey three-bet to 85,000 in the small blind with around 100,000 behind and Racener called, Korkis folded.

On the flop, Yockey jammed and Racener called.

Konstantin Beylin reluctantly called all in for 30,000 in the big blind ad Nyffeler double-checked the remaining stack of Hastings before making the call. Snead Doubles Through Deeb in Massive Pot

In the last hand before dinner, a big three-way pot emerged with more than 240,000 in and the turn showing . Sam Snead had bet 125,000 out of the small blind and Shaun Deeb moved all in for more than 600,000, which eventually forced out big stack Tyler Smith.

Snead, however, made the call for his last 431,000 and the cards were turned over.

Deeb's two pair and flush draw were live as Snead had turned a five-high straight. The river improved Snead to a flush and Deeb took a massive hit to his stack.

Galland More Than Doubles

Toby Lewis won two big pots off Robert Mizrachi and Evan Krentzman to jump above one million in chips and Benoit Galland just did so in a three-way all in. It started with a cutoff raise by Kahle Burns and Galland stuck around from the button. Leif Force jammed for 162,000 in the big blind and Burns isolated with a reshove only for Galland to snap-call.

Tsang Felts Karmazinas in Massive Pot Two Off the Money

Dominykas Karmazinas raised it up to 50,000 and Anson Tsang came along out of the big blind to see a flop of . Tsang checked over to Karmazinas, who continued for 70,000 and picked up a call by Tsang.

The on the turn proved to be the action card as things escalated. Tsang checked, Karmazinas made it 190,000 to go only for Tsang to check-raise for the size of the pot, making it 820,000 in total. Karmazinas gave it plenty of consideration and moved all in for around 1.4 million, Tsang snap-called.

You can't have missed Sebastian Bastian in the $25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller field today. Wearing a bright red hat he's been sitting quietly and going about his business. But at some point, you've just got to ask...

"It was New Years Eve 2006," said Bastian. "I was right here at the Rio. And everyone had on these outfits for New Years so I went to the gift shop and I bought this hat."

He pointed to the hat as if to emphasise the point.

"I went back to the blackjack, and there was this guy from Texas and his wife, and he offered to buy the hat.

"He said 'I'll give you $100" and I said no. Then he said 'I'll give $500!' so I sold the hat to him."

So how come he still has the same hat very clearly upon his head?

"I went back to the gift shop and I bought the same one again. It was the very last one. I went back to the table and the same guy was still there with his wife. He must have laughed for a good four hours about it."

According to Bastian, he's worn the hat every time he's played poker since.

"I even got my first tournament cash in this hat," he said. And if he can just survive one more elimination, he might add another in the most prestigious PLO tournament in the world.
