Chen into Chip Lead After Double Elimination

James Chen opened to 50,000 and got two calls before Julien Martini raised to 280,000. The Nguyen moved all in for 220,000 from the big blind.

Chen asked how much Martini was playing before raising to 700,000. The two callers folded and Martini got the rest of his chips in.

Martini was still ahead after the flop and Nguyen turned a straight draw on the turn as he sought to stay alive. Chen held the nut flush draw, but it was the off-suit which landed on the river, giving him trips and sending both Martini and Nguyen to the rail.
