Johnson Goes Perfect-Perfect

Nível 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

There was a large cry from Andrew Johnson's table as he eliminated a player. However, that was only part of the story. He held {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and had butted heads with an opponent with {q-}{q-} who had flopped a set of queens on {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The turn was the {j-Clubs} giving Johnson a gutshot straight draw, before the {10-Clubs} river completed that straight and sent his opponent to the rail.

Wiliamson Chipping Up

Nível 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The under the gun player raised to 225,00 and Jerald Williamson made the call from the cut-off.

The flop fell {5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and the cut-off made a continuation bet for 175,000, called by Williamson. Both players checked on the turn {a-Clubs}.

The river was the {7-Spades} and this time Williamson called a bet worth 400,000, showing {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for trip nines. His opponent sent {4-}{4-} into the muck.

Ono Busts Another One

Nível 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Action folded around to Caleb Rybalka in the small blind and he shoved all in.

Still stacking chips after busting Ari Engel in the previous hand, Ono snap-called and the players tabled their hands.

Caleb Rybalka: {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Saya Ono: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Ono had a monster in the big blind, which held on the {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{q-Hearts} board, and she eliminated players in back-to-back hands.

Ledda Up to 14 Million Chips

Nível 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Olivier Ledda
Olivier Ledda

"He's unstoppable," remarked someone at Swiss player Olivier Ledda's table. "He's knocked out four or five players in the last ten minutes.

"He had fives and flopped a set. He cracked kings with ace-ten, had ace-jack just now...He never loses!"

Ledda is now on 14 million chips midway through the sixth level of the day. That's good enough for five times the current average which is 2,800,000, and his chip stack is encroaching noticeably on the players either side of him.

After coming into the day with around two million, Eric "Barstool Nate" Nathan has been eliminated, shoving his last 12 big blinds in with {a-}{j-} from the button only to get called by {q-}{q-}.

One Million's Not Cool, Know What Is? Ten Million

Nível 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

With players continuing to rapidly exit the BIG 50, Olivier Ledda appears to be the first person to reach the eight-figure stack mark. The Swiss player finished second in the $250 Daily DeepStack yesterday for $25,089, his highest career cash to date.

Ledda has already locked up over $3,500 with less than 600 players remaining.
