Two Bets Gets the Job Done for Leonard

Nível 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Patrick Leonard raised it up from middle position and was called by the cutoff and Mikiyo Aoki in the big blind. The three players saw a flop of {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Aoki checked to Leonard who continued for 2,700. Both the cutoff and Aoki called.

The turn brought the {j-Diamonds} and Aoki checked again. Leonard quickly put together a bet of 8,700 and the cutoff folded. Aoki gave it some thought but also let her hand go, allowing Leonard to drag in the pot.

Kings Are Good for Kaneoya

Nível 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

The player under the gun opened and Renato Kaneoya made the call as well as a third player in the blinds to create a pot around 10,000. The flop appeared {q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Kaneoya bet after his both opponents checked. Only the initial player made the call.

Things heated on the turn {7-Spades} when, after one more check from his opponent, Kaneoya pushed all in for 11,500, putting his opponent to a decision. After some time he ended up calling with {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a pair of queens only to see {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} in Kaneoya's hand.

The river {3-Diamonds} didn't change anything and Kaneoya doubled up.

Gold Wins a Flip to Double Up

Nível 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Jamie Gold found himself all in for his last 17,600 chips and he was called by Alexander Farahi on his right. Once the cards were tabled, the two players were in a flip with Gold at risk.

Jamie Gold: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Alexander Farahi: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Gold remained in the lead with his pair of fours. The {10-Clubs} on the turn gave Farahi a straight and flush draw but the {6-Diamonds} on the river bricked everything.

Cintra Hits an Ace to Double Up

Nível 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Roland Rokita opened to 1,800 from early position and was called by a player just a couple of seats over. Ana Cintra shipped all in for 11,700 in the cutoff and Rokita re-shoved all in as well. The player in middle position quickly folded and the remaining two hands were tabled.

Ana Cintra: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Roland Rokita: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Cintra took the lead after pairing her ace. The {9-Spades} landed on the turn and the {a-Clubs} completed the board to ensure Cintra of a full double up.
